Hallo !
Subject often discussed but always good to remind and my birthday approaching  , I would like to know on behalf of the owners of G27 which passed to another wheel, if the gain obtained is significant with old sims like GTL and PnG? (the investment is still 300/600 € !!. (I must say that I am generally satisfied with my steering wheel!)
With modern sims, I have no doubt that there is better than the G27, but with old sims ?!

Hi Christian,
if you are still using the original G27 pedals, I propose to look for other pedals, espacially the brake pedal should have the load cell technology.
From my experience, this will bring the biggest effect for more fun, either with 'old' or with 'newer' sims.
There are lots of products available for different prices. Google will help...

P.S. I started with MS Sidewinder Wheel Forcefeedback -> G25 -> G25 with Fanatec Clubsport Pedals V1, -> CSW V1 with CSP V1 -> CSW V1 with Heusinkveld Ultimate pedals -> Directdrive with Ultimate -> always smiling!!!!

Hi
As Dikl says, go for the pedals with loadcell first.
Especially if you are happy with your wheel.
Ads more realism and you can tune it to your desire.
I still use my V1 from Fanatec. One loadcell died and
I had to buy the tuning kit for the bras bushings.
But after that...Good product,very happy.
And the new V3 are even better and look better too.

I had for a while a V2 pedals, while everyone swears by it but oddly, I did not particularly like it! In addition a lot of problem with the accelerator, I sold it since and I use the G27 pedals... |

Different people, different tastes !
Anyway, I have bought the DD1 some months ago.
I race only gtlegends. Works perfect, no problem because its an old game at all.

Hello Christian,
you had problems with the V2 - okay you are not alone
I had they too and some problems but the brake with loadcell was a great and good difference to the G27. But it tooks some time to learn to adjust them and the other way to drive with.
Now this year I had a similar situation like you  and bought the Heusinkveld Sprint. And thats a great step to precise braking. Also acceleration and clutch are adjustable - hardware and software and much better then the V2. But you need time again to learn to drive with them. They are not expansive like the ultimate but a good choice ...
The wheel you can get new next year at your birtday or maybe at christmas ...
