We race together not against each other!
It's boring to finish a lonely race several seconds ahead of the takers.The fun of multiplayer racing is to "see" how the takers act on the course in our eyes. Due to this issue we'll wait most of the time if someone spins of the course. Racing "wheel to wheel" is more important for us than any racing results. Due to this issue a ranking based on the race results does not make any sense. Probably the driver will return to the classic way of racing and this is not our target.
Driver get rated based on their personal "best laps"
One fast lap can be archived regardless of the session type (training/quail/race). If one of the takers spin of the course and you feel to be on your fastest lap ever, simply wait behind the line.
Points will be spread for each vehicle sepeperate
Each driver should get a chance of a good rank regardless of his personal favourite vehicle type. A small Abarth has absolutely no chance to beat the laptime of a Porsche906. But a good "best lap" in an Abarth should be rated higher than a bad "best lap" in a Porsche906 although it's absolutely slower.
Only a driver's best "best lap" will be used for the driver ranking
Each driver can use so many different vehicle type he like to do. A bad result in a vehice type only shortly evaluated shouldn't injure the good result using the favourite vehicle type.
Only currently available vehicle types and tracks will be used for ranking.
Each driver should get a chance of a good rank.The currently available vehicle types and tracks on the game server are changing regularly. Points archived on tracks available on the game server no longer would kill the chance of a good rank for recently joined players. It's the same with vehicle types available on the game server no longer.
Points are allocated for each vehicle/track-combination according to the Moto-GP-rules, with the highest possible points depending on the number of drivers for whom a best lap has been logged.
