I was one of them.
¿Why I did? Because I saw people doing it in previous races and I saw no rule about box entry.
Last year some cars where pushing each other in race (not slipstream, pushing continously) for running 0,5 to 1 sec faster per lap. Anybody said something? Noup!
So you depend on track tolerancy for be more cutter on chicanes, but you dont wanna be track tolerant for select box entry...
Solution: track modification as you say.
Easyer solution: written rule of "how to get into the box".
Yes these are the solutions I think. which solution we will get isn't important - because of fairness and no irritation all should know and do it the same way
Slipstream and pushing i.m.O. is not forbidden in Nascar-Series, about indy 500 I don't know. But with our Formel 1 1967 I cannot think that you can push a car a whole lap, also with the gtx its not sure. On Talladega or Daytona maybe its easier so with IMsacars its allowed, like Nascar
And about rules - in Portugal p.E. it was very relaxed, in Greece very liberal
- Spain i don't remember. But the stories from our guide where very good and funny with more or less truth. But after this story we didn't wait no longer at a red traffic-light if no car was seen like all others.
