- Unfortunately unexpected problems appeared causing a delay.

- Now these problems are solved and the new game server is ONLINE.

- As a small reward to the donors we would like to offer a mailadress in the form  "drivername@altbierbude.de"

Since the “donations" went well we rented a VServer as discussed.

Unfortunately it turned out after renting that the GTL Gameserver does not run on V-Servers (apparently due to an incompatibility of the copy protection). :-(

Now we fight to cancel the contract due to missing assured characteristics.

Fortunately we received the friendly offer to subletting onto an already existing GTR2-Server.

The monthly costs for this solution are EU 25,--

Even if we cannot quit now the VServer contract immediately, we lie with both servers still less the price of one single "real" server.

The move to this server already happened on Sunday and its performance is impressing.
Even in a test running with 24 drivers no problems arose!

The next still missing step is the promised donation info-section on the website, which still needs to be implemented.

As small reward to the “paying” members, we would like to offer a mail address in form “drivername@altbierbude.de” on the mail server of the Altbierbude.

In case of interest pls. don't hesitate to request the account data per PM/eMail.
