Does Gt legend support vibration management with a rumblepad ?
I bought a F710 wireless logitech pad.
All controls are OK except for vibration
(none in Gt legend but yes in RRRE).
I checked differents things :
My configuration is W8.1; I have not installed logitech driver, but whatever the selected mode on pad (Xinput or Directinput) , I have no vibration in game.
Note : Logitech profiler must be installed for the operation of Directinput
In Gt legend the pad is identified as :
- Cordless RumblePad 2 in directinput mode
- Gamepad F710 in Xinput mode
I tried to modify PLR file too by modify the following line but without success
FFB Device Type="3" // Type of FFB controller: 0=none 1=wheel, 2=stick/custom, 3=rumble pad.
(FFB Device Type="0" by default)

Hi gtmaster,

in order to get the vibration effects in GTL you have to set the FFB Effects Level to high or full.

You could do this ingame or in the PLR by setting the value for FFB Effects Level to 3 or 4.

In the PLR you can then tune several rumble effects to your liking (FFB steer vibe, FFB throttle vibe, FFB brake vibe and FFB rumble strip)

Please note that changes in the PLR are only accepted when GTL is not running.

My F710 is configurated in directinput.
It's always the same, nothing
- here my settings in PLR

- and the contol setting in GTL



If I have understood, you seem to say that GTL support vibration management for pad ? but is it working with every type of pads ?
is there anyone who use F710 with vibe in GTL ?

your ingame settings seem correct to me. The only idea I have now is to create a new player to get a fresh PLR.

No, It does not work; i tried too with Xbox 360 emulator (x360ce).
It seems that it's difficult to have vibration with this pad if I see the following post http://forums.logitech.com/t5/Logitech-G- Controllers/F710-vibration/td-p/604928
Logitech should add a third motor !

So, Is there anyone here who use another rumblepad which work in GT legend ?

I've played GTL for years using various gamepads (including Logitech Wireless F710). All of them supported rumble-features in other Games (like Need for Speed Underground 2, Racedriver Grid, NfS Shift) but NOT in GTL.
I guess creating a new .plr won't do ... but I don't know for sure.

I never managed to get this working with GTL ... and I tried for almost 8 years.

In the end I quit trying ... (I'm not using pads anymore).
Please tell me, if you should get it working - I really want to know how.

I created a new .plr as i said but without success.
I tested in directinput with Logitech Gaming Software as specified on logitech site : http://gaming.logitech.com/fr-fr/product/f710- wireless-gamepad
but nothing and I have no option for rumble setting as it should be (I saw that on a post but I don't remember where).

Even in Race Room Racing, I have the rumble but very weak.
So, Now I think there is no solution for GTL
I know, vibration is not really important to drive but I like to understand why it does not work.
