I drive with a 'logitech' pad;
as far as performances, what is the best for GTL or do you drive with a :
pad or steering wheel (ex : G27)???

Don't tell me : the keyboard, I can't believe it !

A keyboard if you have no money.

A pad if you aren't that serious a driver.

A wheel and 3 pedals for the best experience without any doubt.

Logitech G25 or G27
or a
Fanatec

Depends on the size of your wallet.

I understand that those who use a keyboard or pad have the advantage over those who use a wheel such as breaking, control and other helps usually associated to amature over professional settings. Correct or not?

I vote for wheels, too!

I ride a Logitech MomoRacing - good wheel for small money, but meanwhile I would rather tend to a Logitech DrivingForceGT, for having a bigger steering angle. Quality between those two is (in my opinion) the same - good wheel and horrible pedal. Had a Logitech ForceEX before, which was really imprecise with weak FFB and broke after only 3 weeks. If you can afford the price, G25/27 or Fanatec are the wheels to look at (clutch pedal and way better pedals overall).

Don't think that keyboard has that much advantage... Surely, the PC helps you breaking, steering and all - but for much less control and sensitivity. I think it needs a very skilled keyboarder with hillarious fast fingers to beat a skilled wheeler.... or am I wrong?

Nono a wheel gives you the ultimate fun,its a simulation.

I also vote for wheels for ultimate experience .

This is just my opinion... but I think a race car simulation should be driven with a wheel... even if it were slower...
Arcade racing is a different story... but here on the Bude we are proud sim-racers.
I also drive a cheap Momo and it does the job. I think I make more mistakes than my wheel, but I am looking forward to getting a Fanatec combo.

Maybe this isn't the easiest and fastest way but definitely the most exciting one

if I had to drive without a steering ... I stop my sim-racing nights

I've always used a wheel when it comes to PC driving but I've a playstation joypad as an alternative which is great for when i want to lie down on the bed and race.
Only problem is when steering using the sticks theres no lag in that it's quite digital, your on full lock on almost all bends you need to drive in swingman view, any other drives you mad.
