Hi Liam,

do you have mods from other sites installed? The autoupdater doesn't like them.... please try a seperate installation for altbierbude only.

I have recently download a bunch of mods (LeMans70, 67 Camero, etc) and I have noticed that I keep getting booted from the bude races!

Im using standard cars, I can join, load and when I get to the pit screen I get, "you have been booted" Not the "car not found on server" error but a "boot"

I can join other online race but not the budes anymore.


Since the error code is saying "changed physics" Im guessing one the physics files.

The last mod I installed before things went bad was the M-B W25 gp car.

I going to take your advive and do a seperate install.

Hi Friends

I have erased my gt legends, installed the orig game plus downloaded the latest Altbierbude autodownload and python files and Im still getting the same error code

"Error [7]: Changed physics"

During the install process the error code pops up when I should be getting to the sign in screen.

The green bude page pops up, the list of cars are shown and then, "Error [7]: Changed physics"

I hit update button and same error code.

This is with a completely fresh install.

Any ideas?

First of all, have you installed the 1.1 patch? Without that the game will not function online.
Perhaps that is the solution.

Hi Wolf,

You were right I missed the 1.1 patch.

Im back online, however Im still getting booted from races. Last nite I was able to get on to server #2 but not the other ones. Then I got booted from server 2 but was able to get on to # 4.

Im not using the no cd patch. Could this be the problem? Is my GTL.exe (the org. gtl.exe) not what the server is looking for so it veiws me as a "cheat" and therefors "boots" me off?

Hi Liam,

without the no-cd-patch, you'll have problems, as the altbierbude runs different car-classes compared to the original game. Therefore you couldn't see the choice of cars on the servers correctly and will be booted if you use one which isn't actually driven.

As Wolfgang mentioned, take a look here: *klick*

That will unencrypt some files of the game, so that the new car-classes can work. If you have sound problems after the patch, you'll have to install the sound-patch mentioned at the site, too....

First off, thank you for the help and kindness, computers are not my not my strong suit and I'm sure these questions are common place to many of you.

I downloaded and installed the no cd patch. I was was a little worried about doing it because my anti-virus program was going carzy when I was on Gamecopyworld.com but the download seems clean.

All seem well so far, however, I must of misssed something. I can get to the lobby, but can not join ANY races; not Bude or G.C.s or any of them.

Im getting an error message after I try to join: "game not available. host may be running an updated or modified game"

I have fresh install, then 1.1 patch, then no cd patch. the game plays fine.

As a last step, I would suggest to let the autoupdater have a look at your installation. I'm not sure, as I haven't used the no-cd-patch(*), but maybe the new car classes have to be installed once again, as they couldn't be fixed by the autoupdater before you installed the no-cd-patch.

(*): There was an unencrypted version of GTL in a computer-magazine here in Germany - so no need to hassle with no-cd....

Well done! It works, I let the autoupdater look at, like you said, and twice it came up with missing files.
