I have a really weird problem that stopped me joining last nights Curtiba race. When I tried to join the server the only cars I got to choose from were the group 5 cars (2 x BMW CSL & Porsche 935)!
No other cars were listed. If I picked a group 5 car and joined I was instantly booted.(obviously).
The really strange thing happened when I joined server 5 which wasn't running the Curtiba race, I got the normal list of cars but I also got cars like the Saleen and Ferrari 550 from GTR2 showing. If I picked a normal car I could join ok.
Offline everything seems normal, but I just tried joining a server and I'm still getting extra cars.
Has anybody ever seen anything like this before or have any ideas how to fix it ?

Do a clean separate GTL installation with ABB Mods as the only additional cars. search forum for instructions.

Yes I thought that might be the solution.
It will have to wait till I have more time though. I was hoping for a quick and dirty fix, but never mind.

Any non bude modded cars that you have installed WILL show when you try to play online, so...

For a quick fix take a look at your GTL cars and if there are any non Bude cars in there then simply take them out.

It won't harm the game to do this.

Funny thing is I don't have any non bude cars, But the problem seems to have sorted itself after I finished updating the Opal Kadett class. I think it might be something to do with the new classes that have appeared and that I hadn't completely finished the update. After I finished the update everything seems hunky dorey.
The game must have been reading some car classes from GTR2, though god knows how. If I selected one of the GTR2 cars I got a picture of a black AC Cobra.

Hi Pete,

That is very strange and I haven't heard of it before, but the black Cobra is a default icon which shows up if a car does not have it's own icon.

Instead of a complete reinstall of GTL and Bude cars try this:

1... Load up the Autoupdater.

2... Go to Commands / Reinstallation.

3... Set this in motion and it checks to see what's missing etc.

Thanks trying that now. It's re-downloading a shedload of cars, some from way back, even though I'm sure I had them before and the auto-updater showed no new files before I started.
As I said, it seems to be ok since the update when all the new classes appeared, ( the separate class for the Capri 2600 etc.)However this can't hurt and something was obviously wrong if it's downloading all this stuff.
