                      Hallo,
                      Als ich gerade dem Event beitreten wollte, hatte ich einen CTD bei der neuen Strecke Zaluzani.
                      Auch nach mehrmaligem Versuchen, Umänderung der DirectX Einstellungen und Löschen der HAT Dateien keine Besserung.
                      Ich habe jetzt gerade mal eine Trace Datei erstellt und füge den Text hier mal hinein, vielleicht erkennt ja jemand, der sich damit auskennt, einen Fehler.

                      Ich hab ne ATI. Bei mir war während des Trainings auch ein Komplettabsturz.

                      Ich denke, es lag daran, dass meine Karte etwas überfordert war.

                      Nachdem ich im Treiber die Einstellung von "maximale Qualität" auf "balanced" gestellt hatte und in den Spieloptionen die Grafik bei Gegnern und Strecke von "maximal" auf "hoch" gestellt hatte, lief es sehr ordentlich durch.

                      Ob das wirklich der Grund ist, weiss ich aber nicht.

                      Hello Everyone!

                      I`m very surprised about those CTD-s some of You are experiencing...

                      I spent all night investigating with various graphic settings, but sadly could not find the "Bug" jet.

                      It surprises me because I developed the track on a ATI card (4870 with 1 Gb ram -single card, NO DUAL gpu).
                      I`m currently using Catalyst drivers 9.9 and had not suffered even a single CTD

                      pls. try the latest drivers (10.2), may be it will help:

                      I just sent an e-mail asking Uwe to put the track on a server 5 for further testing, so hopefully we will find where is the catch

                      Important!:
                      For all of You, experiencing these issues, please, when reporting, include Your trace file as knudsen94 did, although his trace sadly doesn`t reveal nothing useful

                      I have found what is the catch just a few minutes ago...

                      So, a bit of patience and it will be fixed.

                      I`m waiting for Uwe to get home , and we will hopefully find a solution to make the necessary corrections to the AIW file.

                      ...I`d like to fix it myself right now, but sadly I`m not an AIW Wizard )

                      I give the advise, not to use the actual ATI driver 10.1 or 10.2. They are bugged and not even the installation works without any faults.

                      Tried it two times. And every time, the installation aborted with a fault.

                      Nice rocks, gstaraz. Looking good. Will cause some rollovers...yeahaaa.

                      I have found what is the catch just a few minutes ago...

                      So, a bit of patience and it will be fixed.


                      What did you found? Some problem with cut warnings or the problem for CTD?

                      Der Ladebildschirm erscheint und bei ca.10% Ladebalken erfolgt CTD. (mehrfach offline getestet)

                      Ich hatte gestern keine Problem, trotz ATI-Karte und 10.1er Treiber.

                      Beim Start ging allerdings meine Framrate böse in die Knie (22Fps- allerdings alles auf max; Schatten mittel).
                      Meine 5850er bleibt sonst bei diesen Voraussetzungen immer bei min. 40 Fps, die Strecke + der Opel Kadett haben es mächtig in sich.

                      Hallo nochmal,
                      nicht daß wir von verschiedenen Dingen reden.

                      Ich den bisherigen Beiträgen lese ich von:
                      -Absturz während des Trainings
                      -Freezes
                      -nicht abgestürzten Spielen
                      -Frameeinbußen

                      Das eigentliche Problem ist aber doch,
                      daß die Strecke erst garnicht geladen wird !
                      (Siehe Anfangsbeitrag von knudsen94)

                      Thanks for the info on that 10.xx Drivers!
                      ATI is going down it seems... every day more problems with those cards and drivers... I regret having bought one

                      Have found both problems:

                      1. The chicane, since it is very "narrow", when You cut it at that point, You actually cut 2 or 3 "red" corridors, that are intersecting(that means 3 warnings at once)...so the rocks will fix the problem for sure

                      2. The Corridors in the pit-lane are too narrow and do not reach the Garage spots, so when You stop for "pitting" on a few pit stop spots Your car get rotated for a few degrees, and again on some Garage spots at race start You have to jump from the garages to the pit-lane corridor, again crossing the "red" corridor...

                      3. The FPS drops (caused by the pit-lane issue) are caused because the game engine is trying to calculate where to spawn a car when someone is trying to join the server on those few problematic Garage spots. (it happened to me this morning when I was testing it with Maurice)...
                      Choosing another car If You have those problems should solve the problem for the moment... (not a solution, but better than nothing if You want to drive it until we fix it )

                      Of Course, everything that I wrote is not to be taken as a fact, but after inspecting the AIW, and from some previous experiences, I think it is correct

                      I have completely redone the Garage and pit section along with the AIW for rFactor, so I think all the problems should be solved...

                      Sorry for replying that late, but I just came back from school.
                      I've got the same graphics card as Monello, which is an Ati Radeon X1950 Pro 512 MB ram.
                      I've tried everything like taking different cars, choosing different graphic settings or reinstalling the track by hand, but still: CTD after 10% of the loading screen; but as it seems that you have found the problem, it doesn't matter anymore.
                      Thanks a lot for directly replying and even searching for the mistake the whole night, GREAT service
                      But as far as I can judge it from the live stream yesterday, the track is very nice

                      Ich habe eine "Stop & Go" bekommen, nur weil ich in der Spitzkehre den Sand etwas mit dem rechten Vorderrad berührt habe. Meiner Meinung nach viel zu übertrieben. Das ist maximal eine (Ver)Warnung wert.

                      Ansonsten ATI 4890 OC und Abflug beim Boxenstop (als das "Board" hochkam). Alle "Ingame" Einstellung auf max und 4xAA und 8xAF im CCC ausgewählt.

                      @ Ron:

                      Mach mal bei der Installation vom Treiber dein ganzes Antivirenzeug und ggf. die Firewall aus, dann klappt es auch. War zumindest bei mir so.

                      Ich bräcuhte mal jemanden, der den CTD 100% reproduzieren kann zum testen. Da der Fehler bei mir nicht auftritt kann ich den nicht Allein beheben.

                      Jemand mit 100% CTD Quote grade ONLINE ?

                      edit: Und beide ATI Karten. Er ne relativ alte mit nem alten Treiber, ich ne 4870 mit aktuellstem Treiber.

                      werft mal bitte die .trk hier in Euer "locations\zaluzani"-verzeichnis (Original ersetzen).

                      Mal sehen ob es dann immer noch scheppert...

                      ...und nicht erschrecken, der Kurs sieht dann etwas trostlos aus

                      nach ~3h haben wir das Prob nun gefunden ...
                      Die "zaluzanix.dds" und "bake.dds" sind mit 1280x1024 fpr die alten ATIs einfach zu groß ... 1024x1024 is OK...

                      DIESER BUG is Geschichte nun gehen wir die anderen Bugs an ..
