Hi.
A guy named Swish has a car that causes me to flash. I Updated my car using the tool. but his V8 Capri is not in Car Downloads

Any idea why, or where people have gotten this car?

There shouldnt be a V8 Capri !

Hope there is another explanation for the problem.
There is one driver who has always problems when I join too.Dont know why.

How did you see, that it was a V8 Capri. We only have a Capri RS, but no V8 Capri.

Give us more information, why you mean a to see a V8 Capri driven by swish.

Well ilog onto server and as the other players load it starts flashing on swish. I can see the box that lists the players and their cars and times. Swish lists with a capri v8. I actually have the capriv8 mod from no grip....could it be the same car number is being used?

It appears that he has downloaded the Capri V8 and even if he does not use it on the Bude just the fact that it is on this GTL instillation that he uses for the Bude may well be enough to cause the problems that you say.

However, if he is using the actuall V8 download on the Bude then he certainly risks being kicked oout of the server for good.

He must remove this car from his GTL game and if he still wishes to use it then he must make a 2nd install of GTL especially for modded cars.

Hey kliest,
it seems, that your installed V8-Capri-mod shows you other Capris as V8-version. But this problem seems to be caused by you.

Please uninstall the V8-mod or make a second GTL-installation to use it there.

We will watch at swish to make sure he do not use this mod.

This happened again. I had just finished updating the car via the autoupdater. I tried to log in and could not. It was flashing on ASC. It said he had a Cobra....I cant figure it. Anyone heard of such a thing?

Hi VK,

I was on the server when you tried to join and ASC was actually driving a DeTomaso Pantera - Pisang Ambon (slot 333).

There were no infinite loop issues for me but maybe you do not have that car or maybe the file is corrupted. I would suggest downloading this car by hand and installing it. Delete the old one first if you have the file.
