Hi people..

I was just wanting to know how or where can i find the password for the event servers?, for instance simwednesday's, are these seperate websites?, non of my business, but i'm not even sure why need passwords, given the game is now 15 years old i highly doubt anybody playing now is a nightmare intentional wrecker...

the only events where we still use passwords are our ETCC, because this is a team series and you have to register for it before. And at the double feature of Manfred, because there are 2 classes on 2 different servers and we don't want that the 2nd server is entered too early. In this case the PW is under the event poster (F5)
The ETCC PWs are located somewhere else, but this is only important for the registered drivers of the teams

err a couple of points what's (f5)? the double feature of Manfred..(i know that's a fellow sim racer as i have seen the name on the servers) but double feature,, would that be the sim.org server?, i'm only enquiring because these are longer races which i fancy doing a bit of....sorry if i sound a little bit aloof, but i'm not familiar with everything...

F5 is a button on the keyboard which refreshes the website.
If you have already been on the main page before the event starts you have to press F5 to make the password appear.

The double feature is an event series created by Manfred Haupenthal.
The next race takes place on the 23rd of april.

sim.org is another community.
We only use the servers named www1.altbierbude.de, wwww2.altbierbude.de, ... , www8.altbierbude.de.
The servers are normally online 24/7 with short races (e.g. 5 laps) on a selection of tracks and cars.
On event days (Sunday and Thursday) at 8pm CET we run some longer races like the afore mentioned ETCC, Double Feauture and many more.
Information on upcoming events is announced on the posters on the main page.
For example, the next event is a 4Fun race on Thursday the 16th of april on the historic track of Hockenheim with the F1 '67 cars.
Server 6 is currently setup with this combo if you want to practice.
