Hi you guys who sufferd some annoying noises that started after I had been on TS for over 1 hour at the Istanbul race.

I found that it was caused by a small fan that blows on my face on the same side as my mic on the headphones.

So SORRY dudes and it all systems go for next time!

Great you solved the problem! But you should have known where it came from as I said it sounds like wind is blowing on your mic.
I'm sorry if I was a little bit rude on TS but this noise was really loud and constantly stressing out. I hope you can understand that it isn't acceptable to bother 20 other poeple on TS during an event like this.
I thought you would just "park" somewhere, switch to desktop to turn off TS and come back to race. There was no need to quit completely. It would just have cost you about 15 seconds or so.

Anyways, good you got rid of the prob!

Nice that you found the solution.

Im not happy that you must quit racing now 2 times, because of this strange noices.

Hopefuly we can now race together without this 'blowing in the wind' feature.

You should put some icecubes in your pockets, before you getting to hot.

I was so puzzled & frustrated by the problem that I could no longer concentrate to race anyway. I would have found the reason sooner but even though I can hear myself amplified a little, if I do breath into the mic I can hear it also, but this I could not hear like that at all.

When I left the race I checked all my sound settings and connections etc again and found nothing wrong and it was only a little later I thought could it be the fan blowing on my face.

I am now looking forward to a good full race next time so get some practice dudes, he he!

I know excactly how you feel as you left.

I had 4 weeks of problems with an unstable PC, caused often freeze or CTD during race-events.
I was one step along to throw it out of the window, down to the street, lol.

That was very frustrating for me; I like to drive the events and the fu*** PC is still hang up.

In the last days I found the solution and my PC is now running fine. I think, on the next consumer show, I will kick a Logitech guy in the a**.
