Hi Moorhuhn my dear friend,
You said:
"Well, I'm quite sure that you wouldn't get revenge on him, Gee. Never let yourself be pulled down by others".
He he …I may be British and a Gentleman driver, but yes, revenge is sweet if they won't answer you. What can you do to get their attention? The only way I have found is to give ignorant drivers like them their own treatment and when they complain you remind them of what they did and then tell them again the proper way to drive on the Bude. If they say nothing then you simply say "I would have said sorry and waited but you didn't when you did it to me".
This is how a father gets through to a son who will not listen and I have found it works well with drivers like this. I know that there can be a language barrier and he may not have understood what I was saying …but, if you saw your name being said time after time you would ask why …wouldn’t you?
You also said:
“but on the other hand it's just a game and we're all taking much more risks than in real life. One should always keep in mind how disappointing it is to be spun by someone from behind, and adjust the breaking-points therefore”.
I was on the fast left right left right bends of Hilltop and only lifted off the gas for a very short time, I think his problem was that he does not like to be overtaken. I never loose sight of it being just a game, but all games have rules that must be obeyed otherwise it ceases to be a game. As you and most other drivers know, I understand completely that errors occur and I make many myself, but if some spins me and says “Sorry” and waits for me to rejoin the track straight away then that is the incident forgotten about and we go about our racing again.
We were experimenting with a kicking tool a short while ago but there were some complications and until they are resolved this tool is on hold. The tool allows certain chosen drivers the ability to ‘Kick’ a player from the game without a vote being asked for. This will be a good deterrent to have as the actual servers are not always around. I wonder if it has been developed any further …mmmm?
I hope to see you on the track soon Moorhuhn as you are always a great pleasure to drive with.
Cheers & best regards,
Gee-Deeman
