Thanks for the many nice comments for the 2800CS
Now that the car has been here for a few days and many have had a chance to drive it.
I am interested in opinions on the overall pace of the car in terms of lap time.
My goal was to have it as fast as the Capri2600 faster on some tracks and slower on others depending on the cars relative strengths.
The BMW is heaver, but a more powerful car so they will not be the same on the same type of track
The original physics I did for the older version of the car were a little on the slow side
So for this new version I updated them a bit.

I am asking because we are planning a small patch for a couple of graphic fixes and I could at that time make a small adjustment if necessary.

My opinion in watching the lap times here, is
that it is about right. however that it may be a bit to fast on bigger faster tracks than I intended.
Not by a lot, but perhaps .5 of a second.
This is a little hard to judge just looking at lap times because the driver who may have done a fast lap in the BMW on a given track, my not have done any laps in the Capri2600
So this is why I am interested in others opinion.

a fantastic work all of you've done. I'll put the last ETCC tracks on server #6 and all cars of it. The tracks are well known and I hope the Team Capri members of last ETCC season could bring us some impressions of the 200CS handling and speed.
I agree with you, the Bimmer seems to be a bit too fast but will test it in time.

Moin, ich habe mit Freude das Update des 2800CS gesehen.

Ich habe dann wie in der Readme beschrieben den alten BMW2800CS Ordner gelöscht und dann den Autoupdater durchlaufen lassen.
Alle Gut und läuft.

Aber was ist mit den nachträglich gepainteten Wagen?
Hätte ich doch nur die neue Version drüberbügeln sollen? Oder müssen die anderen Wagen von den jeweiligen Paintern noch mal nachgearbeitet werden ?
Ein kleiner Hinweis wäre nett

Fährt sich übrigens Klasse das Update !!!
