So hab das ganze jetzt eingefügt im Spiel.

Kann die schüssel jetzt auch fahren allerdings hab ich keinen Sound dazu obwohl ich die komplette datei eingefügt habe. Dann hab ichs mal versucht den Sound Ordner zu den anderen Sounds der anderen Autos dazu getan aber dann hats immer noch nich gebrummt.

weiß vielleicht einer wo das problem liegt ?

achja dasspiel stürtzt ab weil euch die talent.gtr und stex.gtr fehlen

Sorry dass ich einen alten Thread aufwärme, wollte aber mal wissen obs was neues zum Audi S1 gibt?
hab mir die beta runtergeladen, aber das Problem dass GTL beim laden abstürzt. Auto wird auch in der Vorschau nicht dargestellt.
@Hubert99: was meinst du mit die Dateien fehlen? Wo bekomm ich die her?

ladet euch doch nicht alles runter, was ihr irgendwo finden könnt. es gibt soviel müll dadraußen, dass ihr euch euer spiel ruinieren könnt. ist schon oft genug vorgekomen.

falls es euch noch nicht aufgefallen ist:
wenn sensationielle oder zumindest gute mods in der mache bzw. released werden, dann seid ihr die ersten, die davon zu wissen kriegen.
der audi gehört bis jetzt nicht dazu und auf der seite, wo du den audi bekommst, gibs noch ne menge anderer müll.

wartet doch einfach, bis sich hier insider melden, die wissen, wo der hase gerade übern acker rennt und kauft nicht ständig nur die lollies, die schön bunt sind, obwohl sie doch eh nicht schmecken.

ich kann euch versprechen, da kommt noch einiges auf euch zu

Welcome to the Bude & I hope you can understand English.

The Audi S1 is just a simple conversion from GTR2 to GTL and because of this the files that are needed to show the car as a picture or video on the menu screen have not been created and some information is also missing from the 'CAR File' that helps you to see the car in the showroom.

If your game crashes when you try this car it is usually because of an incomplete or corrputed installation. Try installing the car again and do it the easiest way. Put the 'GameData' folder into your GTL folder and when prompted to overwrite press 'Yes To All'. This will not actually overwrite any of your other files or data but only add the data needed for the Audi S1.

With this installation you will still not see the car in the showroom until you go to race or practice, then when you are asked to choose your car you will be able to see it in the showroom only and you will be able to buy it.

If you want to see the car in the 'Dealers' showroom or in your own 'Garage' you can do some very simple changes.

1...Open GTL/GameData/Teams/GTC-TC-76/AudiS1/*File Folders of both cars*

2...Then open the 'CARFile' in each of the folders with 'WordPad' or 'NotePad' and overwrite the line classes="Full, 2003, SIM_GTC76" with classes="SIM_FULL, SIM_GTC, SIM_GTC76, SIM_CSL, SIM_TOURING, SIM_NOLONG"

3...Underneath it add the line Value=1 which means your car will only cost 1 credit!

You should now be able to see the car in the dealers list and showroom and buy it. The only downside of doing this is that the car will be able to enter almost any of your offline races and competitions.

I already tried reinstalling it, but still there is no preview of the car. Now I`am sure its installed in the correct folder! But while loading a race GTL crashes!
Maybe it works only with GTL V.1.0 an not with the patch?

Hi again Smii,

If GTL keeps crashing with only this car then delete the 'AudiS1' folder in GTC-TC-76 folder then reinstall the way I told you. The Audi S1 does work if installed correctly but just one tiny piece of data placed wrongly can cause a CTD.

If it is always the same track that you get a CTD on then this could be that the track has become corrupted and needs reinstalling or that files inside the HAT folder (GTL/GameData/UserData/LOG/HAT) need deleting. This is a safe thing to as they are created everytime you load a track and are there just to enable quicker loading if they are present.

I can`t report any progress !
But something strange happend: I reinstalled it and one of the two cars still costs 1 credit. But in both .car files the line "value=1" is missing! Maybe I should delete the whole game and then have another try?

Hi Smii,

Yes the 'Value=1' is missing and that is why I said to put this line in. The car should still work without it but it will just cost the highest default value. The reason why one of the cars still costs 1 credit is that you must have bought that one and it is still saved in your data. If you sell it then you should not have it anymore.

I cannot understand why you are still having problems with the car but to be honest it is not suited to GTL anyway as it handles to much like a GTR2 car.

If you do reinstall the game again then do it by uninstalling using the uninstall feature on the GTL disk. This will only delete Default GTL data and not any data that you have added such as cars and tracks or even your profile data etc.

Don't forget to reinstall the 1.1 patch when you have done this.

Am geeignetsten für irgendwelche Mods finde ich immer noch eine zweit Installation.
Eine saubere für die Bude und eine zum Testen.
Beim einfügen von neuen Mods ist es auch oft von Vorteil wenn man vorher mal den GameData Ordner Kopiert und an einem Sicheren Ort zwischenlagert
Aber selbst wenn irgend etwas unlösbare Probleme bereiten sollte und du eine Komplette Neuinstall machst braucht das Skript bei mir ca 10 Minuten um alle Fahrzeuge und Strecken wieder in das "Jungfräuliche" GTL zu bringen.

Hi guys,

A second installation of GTL for Addon (MOD) cars is the best way to go. I have allsorts of Addon cars on mine and they cause me very few problems.

A few people may say Addon's just cause CTD's and leave them alone ...please read on!

When I first started to install them (The Renault 8 Gordini) I had problems but this was my fault. I placed every file by hand as I did not trust in simply using the Install program with it. I also had some problems when I placed other files by hand on another MOD as I thought the 'GameData file would overwrite data that I wanted.

To place every file where it should go can cause a CTD and if you place just one piece of data in the wrong place ...just one letter or bracket or number etc, it can do that!

What I do now is to check the unzipped 'GameData' folder out first to make sure it looks right, then I place it inside the GTL folder and then press 'Yes To All' when asked. All folders and data go in the correct places and nothing is actually overwritten.

Not every Addon or MOD is worthy of GTL ...as long as you are happy with it is what counts in the end.

That seems like some very good advice Gee,best to check out beforehand what exactly you are downloading,and yes there are some mods that lack quality or just not tested properly.
