Hi guys,

I hope to spend time on GTL again this winter.

I have 2 user names, the main one you guys will know me by is Maurice (my name) and the second Moz. Moz was made so i could get back to a stock PLR file after playing and getting totally lost with the one in the 'Maurice' profile.

Anyway I want to get back to using my Maurice profile online but for some reason each time I try to join it will not let me even though the password is still saved.

Any help gratefully received.

Long time no see. I hope the fishies are still well.

I'm not sure if I can help you but did you make a new install with the original disc or did you use GTL CBR version?

Don't forget the original disk version needs the 1.1 patch installed or you can't get online.

If you have TS you could ask some of the guys on their as most of them spaek good or fair English.

I can get online with the Moz profile but not with the Maurice profile??

When I try to login it comes back with 'general error'.
I can't remember what my password is/was but it shows it saved when I click to go online just the same as it does with the Moz profile.

I'm sure their is something about having more than one account which gives problems like yours somewhere on the forum. Doing a quick search I found this:

The right password is saved in your "maurice".plr file. At the end of the multiplayer part you should find it.

I can't figure out what is wrong, Both user names have the same password, but I can only enter the lobby with the Moz user name?

Perhaps I shall have to stay as Moz, but I lose all my old best laps.

and your

new driver name
new lobby name
