while the great majority of "drivers" were watching football last thursday, there were still some weird people to drive the event through. I just remind you these weird drivers are still missing the results of "Linköping Motorstadion National with Lotus Elite" event...

but like B8man all I saw was a criticism and definately no joke from you at all.

These good guys who run the Bude also have a life outside of GTL, so we should take care to remember that and to thank them for there dedication and forgive them when they (seldom) fail to deliver.

If calling myself and those who were driving the event instead of watching the football quarterfinal (that includes you too, Geedee) "weird" is not making fun of myself mostly, what is it then? If you look it that way where do you find the criticism? Maybe I'm no good making jokes in english, but I bet you're no better with finnish.

Of course I understand all work here is voluntarily and it should not be considered as an axiom but given the respect it deserves. Neither will I be only an unbooked passenger here - that's why I've done my modest share by donating and even volunteering to do something within my capability for the community too - but no task given so far.

We are only human - sometimes we forget things but at least I'm thankful if someone reminds me of my slip-ups, but maybe I'm just too "weird" doing so.

Yes, Uwe, you got it - that's the day I had waited for so long! I know I'm not the fastest and never will, but I try to do my job well playing fair, wise and avoiding errors and I finally did it! That's why I did not want that event to be forgotten forever. To be honest the football made my job easier - but only those who take part have their chance. And I'll do that again, some day...

And yes Gordon, you're right - the sense of humor is different in each and every country. We finns are plain-spoken and we speak no flummery, that's sometimes too much for some...
