Hi.
I´m gonna tell my modest opinion about this.
I would like to start from the end. LMC-Dessau, really was somebody expecting good participation or many ending racer quantity? When there´s a "high risk race" like dessau, in case of you want people have fun, at least it would be nice to have 2 races instead of 1. I know GTL does not have an option to make 1 qualy and 2 races, but server can be modified to go directly to the second race without qualifying. 4fun...
4fun.
Tracks:
One of the things I (we) liked the most (in the game) when I knew altbierbude comunity was the quantity of tracks. I literally dont understand why we only play in 10% of existing tracks. Ithere anyone who does not like to know new tracks? (few people)
Ok, maybe you dont like it for a chamionship but on 4fun series I would like to hear on TS "hey we´ve never play this track". Yes, I hear sometimes, but I´m very impressed to know on private race an awesome track never played here. I know I´m not here since 10 years ago, but I speak about what I have lived here.
Cars:
By the other side... I love how events are made with different cars on same race. We love it, trust me. So, why people likes "double feature" and its so participatory approach? because everybody has to choose sometimes an slow car and sometimes an uncontrollable car. Conclusion?
Variety makes interest, and interest generates participation.
Survey:
By my point of view, that survey about "favourite" class
es its wrong made. I mean, it should be a 1to10 points, because with actual puntuation system, there could be a class with 0 points but to be the second chance for everybody.
You do not want to get a "winning class" but know about the interests of the classes that matter most, so, sorry for the correction but vote for 1 its not the way to obtain it.
EDIT:
2 years ago, we (DTR-s) had a web with different events for that time when you got into the servers and you saw nobody in. We name it "Retos" (means challenge, dare,...).
You had to do your best on a "start and end" track (I mean, with one start and one end, not lap type).
I share with you a picture of one of that "retos":
