To be honest it is very fair that you are so behind with your times. It proves that the game is a sim (simulation) rather than an arcade game.

We almost all start this way but like any driver you must learn the craft of driving ...getting a feeling for the car. Before I dared to come on line I completed the GTL champoinships offline at all levels. I thought I would be a very good driver but I still had a lot to learn.

This is a great game because the driving experience is so life like and as Crawler68 said "join the Rookie Club". Yo will get to know the tracks and cars better and with advice from GTL pro drivers.

Also you may learn a great deal from a "doc" download from here as it is a reference manual to Driving race cars:

Hi Cambo,

It's fair, because "they" have more practice! I'm also a "Owner of the red tail light!"

Don't be anoyed or angry about your experience, compared to some others!
It's really only a question of practice, as "GeeDee" mentioned above!!

Join us every Monday at "Rookie-Club / Snail Races" on Server 4 (ca. 8pm - 10pm "CET"!) to get some "hints" about "Line" and "Breakpoints", last but not least about the "Setup" of different cars!

Installed TeamSpeak-SW (Also I don't have it at moment!) will be an advantage (most of them are talking german and english too!), but not mandatory! Also communication via "Ingame-Chat" will be welcome!

Try it, because we will wait for you (also during races), if you are "off the track" caused by any mistake you did!

Everybody will help you there to be faster on track. At least your personal "Gap" to faster drivers will be less after some sessions!
