Innsbruck Airport, Austria
Between 1958 and 1977 international airfield races took place on the Innsbruck Airport.
Called "Preis von Tirol" amongst others, they were driven on a 1,7km long track,
and after alteration of the airport since 1962 on a 2,8km track. Because of noise exposure
and the near university hospital, after 1977 no more races were held.
My humble opinoin: noise exposure from car racing on an airport. rofl.

Today, a link between the runway an the apron of the glider airfield is missing,
so the old layouts cant be driven any more, so a new layout would be needed.
My 3,6km long track adopts the style of german airportraces from the mid-90s,
with the typical chicanes with high curbs on the runway, more tracksection on
the surrounding taxiway an the apron.
As i only race online and i only made the AI with BTB, i presume that the AI just sucks.
And i just don't care, so... feel free to create a better one

Flughafen Innsbruck, Österreich
Zwischen 1958 und 1977 fanden auf dem Flughafen Innsbruck Internationale Flugplatzrennen statt.
Unter anderem als "Preis von Tirol", wurde erst auf einer 1,7km langen Strecke gefahren,
nach einem Umbau des Flughafens ab 1962 auf 2,8km. Wegen der Lärmbelästigung und der
nahegelegenen Uniklinik wurden nach 1977 keine Rennen mehr veranstaltet.
Meine Meinung: Lärmbelästigung wegen Autorennen auf einem Flughafen. rofl.

Da die alten Varianten wegen einer nicht mehr vorhanden Verbindung zwischen der Landebahn
und dem Segelflugplatz so nicht mehr befahrbar ist, wäre für die heutige Zeit ein anderes
Layout von Nöten. Meine 3,6km lange Strecke habe ich an die deutschen Flugplatzrennen
Mitte der 90er angelehnt, mit den typischen Schikanen mit hohen Curbs auf der Landebahn,
weiteren Streckenabschnitten auf den umgebenen Rollbahnen und dem Vorfeld.
Da ich nur online fahre und die KI nur mit BTB gemacht habe, nehme ich an, dass die AI scheiße ist.
Ist mir auch egal - deswegen kann wer möchte die KI gerne verbessern.
