Hi!

Ich bin auch das Detroit Iron gefahren, bin aber leider disqualifiziert worden. Ich weiß nur nicht so ganz warum? Ich bin mit Limiter nach meinem ersten Boxenstop aus der Box gefahren und drei Runden später wurde ich disqualifiziert. Hab aber keine Stop and Go Meldung gesehen (kann aber auch sein, dass ich es übersehen hab).

Bis wohin geht denn in Mugello das Tempolimit? Hab den Limiter genau bei der Ampel an der Boxenausfahrt ausgeschaltet. Die Ampel war beim Rausfahren auf Rot, aber das hat ja nichts zu sagen, oder?

War aber trotzdem ein geiles Rennen. Nur Timo sollte mal seine Überholpunkte überdenken!

das Problem mit nicht nachvollziehbaren Stop&Go bzw. DQ hatten bei uns auch ein paar. Die Ampel war bei mir aber immer grün, das ist zumindest schon mal seltsam - vermutlich war die rote der Grund für deine Disqualifikation ...

Da war weit und breit kein Fahrzeug in der Nähe, verstehe also nicht warum die Ampel rot war!

Ehrlich gesagt, keinen Plan! Ich habe mich bisher in GTL nie groß um die Boxenampel gekümmert - es ist nur seltsam, daß sie bei dir rot war . Und wie erwähnt, bei uns gabs auch nicht nachvollziehbare Sanktionen. Würde sagen, schei* drauf, nächstes Event kommt bestimmt

war ein schönes Rennen. Ständig irgend was los und lauter schöne Fights mit Bernhard gehabt. Am Zielstrich nach über einer Stunde fahren waren wir dann doch ganze 2 tausendstel auseinander

Erstmal ein großes SORRY! an Leckmajor...
Konnte für meine Verhältnisse fantastisch mithalten und hatte es mir auf P5 oder 6 hinter Thunder/Leckmajor mit dickem Vorsprung gemütlich gemacht. Irgendwann haben sich vor mir einige Wagen gedreht und ich sah viel Rauch, zwei langsame Wagen auf der Strecke und einen Wagen rechts im Gras... also dann links und durch! Denkste - aus einer Rauchwolke kam leider Leckmajor rückwärts auf die linke Seite und ich bin natürlich deftig rein...
Danach hatte die Karre ein interessantes Handling und die Boxencrew musste die Federung erst noch aus einem Stück Rohmetall zurechtfeilen.

Später gab es dafür noch schöne Kämpfe auf runtergrubbelten Schlappen mit Haflac und Timo (Danke dafür! ) und nach ein paar kleinen Fahrfehlern immerhin noch P10.

Hat Spaß gemacht - Freue mich auf nächstes mal!

Danke, war aber auch echt ein hartes Stück arbeit mit dem Teil!!! Nach jeweils 6-8 Runden sind die Reifen an dem Auto echt fertig!
Naja das Ergebnis sieht man ja...letzter mit schweissnassen Händen . Aber nicht so schlimm...wollte es ja so, war vorher mit nem Capri unterwegs und lag in der Quali noch auf Platz 10, wollte aber unbedingt mal mit der Corvette fahren...nunja auf der Strecke echt ein Fehler!!

das mit den Reifen der Vette war ein echtes Problem - schlimmer als auf jeder bisherigen TWC-Strecke (Brands Indy weiß ich nicht, die mußte ich auslassen). Aber Spaß hats auf jeden Fall gemacht ! Deine Leistung verdient alle Anerkennung, du wurdest ja nicht letzter, sondern 15. von 27 Gestarteten - und du bist angekommen, das ist das Wichtigste . Und was wäre der Altbierbuden-TWC, wenn nicht immer ein paar Leute auch mit Corvette, BMW oder Escort unterwegs wären

Hi Jens and all the others as well,

I don't remember the exact situation with you. I'm sorry if I caused you any trouble as I always try to drive fair and safe.

I started 10th and after some laps I was left 25th being pushed couple of times times out and left there without anobody waiting...

Still wanted to try my best and started to climb up one by one and finally finished 9th.

I hope you can refresh my mind by telling the lap and place or what better the timestamp of replay taken from download area. I give you my opinion after taking a look first...

I suggest you all attach function "Look Back" to some button, preferably on wheel to be able to know who's behind you and on what position. So you can prepare yourself even before the blue light lits on dashboard.

PS. Although I write in english, I usually understand your messages written in german well enough

I was in front of you on P22 withe the blue Corvette in second round. You (on P24) had a hard fight with Asskicker (yellow Porsche 906) on P23.

First time Asskicker hit me in the back in round 2 (314,8s replay time). In round 3 you hit me the first time in the back (replay time 386,6s).

I became the second hit from you at replay time 392,2s in the driver door and then you and asskicker turned me from the track and we all landed in the grit.

With the corvette i have a earlier breakpoint then you with the Porsche 911, but there are some corners, where the corvette is quick like the Porsche. Also the corvette accelerates much better. If you want to pass me fair, you had to wait for youre chance ore a mistake from me.

But it's no problem, i had no greater damage!

No, no, no and no! I was probably too optimistic when believing to overtake you there just like that. I was beside you when we approached that lefthander curve and I relied on you to keep your line but you "slammed the door in front of my nose" knocking my front right corner on your way. Take a look at following 3 pictures:

No, no, no again! Asskicker knocked me first slightly - notice suddent change in his car's direction. Then you moved to left knocking me and finally Asskicker knocked your back and then we all went out. The skidmarks of my car don't lie - I did not knock anybody, quite opposite. Take a look at following 4 pictures:

I'm still convinced that it was a right place to overtake. Just look at the replay how cleanly I overtook you just one lap later at the very same place.

But that's racing, sometimes you win sometimes you lose. I enjoyed the race very much despite of such minor setbacks...

Leider is mir mein Wagen in der 1. Runde von ASSKICKER geschrottet worden, und ich bekam nichtmal ein sorry.Naja in dem getümmel kanns ja passieren.Fuhr ich eben Krumm ins Ziel,hat ja trotzdem spass gemacht!

Sorry, aber bei dir frage ich mich schon ein bischen! Du hast 24 106 Km auf deinem Budenzähler, bist also kein Anfänger mehr!
Und trotzdem war es bei den letzten 4-5 Events in denen ich dabei war so das du zuerst 2-3 Fahrer abschiesst, und dan das Feld verlässt.
Wiso fährst du den noch mit wenn du nach 5 Runden eh aussteigst?? Schade eigentlich...

really no need to apologize - you didn't slow me down noticeable, it was just fun to have such duells with you. There's no difference if you're battling for 1st or 10 th place, those moments are always the best ones of race.

I was driving flat down all the way to catch you and noticed you had worn tyres. So I just waited patiently for my moment to come and to do the overtake, which I by the way had to do with you several times due to my own errors.

It is many times hard to decide whether to change tyres or not. On last event (Silverstone/Elan's) I did not change tyres and that decision gave me several setbacks during the latter phase of the race. So this time I changed them and it seemed to be the right decision.

See you on track, I hope we can have more such gentleman racing in the future, that's if I come a little bit quicker by time

There is one important rule in racing! If you are behind me (behind the half of my car) before a corner, the corner is mine and you have to wait. It is absolutely clear, that i go on the inside of this corner, if i am in front. So you have to break before me. If i try to drive this corner on the outside in this situation, i will fly in the grit.

But this hit was not the problem. And it's ok, altogether you were faster then me. And even so we had a nice fight. And later you get me fair.

Second hit from you:

Ok, i had the look from in front of us at the replay. Then it was Asskickers blame.
I have to prove you and Monsterkiller. Asskicker often drives really bullshit and he never say sorry!!! He hit me in round 2 three times without apology.

Maybe he need some glasses!!

Of course I know the rules but I have to admit that I thought I could fully come beside you before that lefthander curve and didn't realise how quick after breaking quite heavily at previous righthander curve you could have your Vette back on the fly again.

The cars we used had so different chacacter. It had been much easier to adapt with more similar cars.

So I see it as a pure racing accident which had been quite difficult to prevent since we didn't see each other well when approaching the curve. We both were so stubborn and didn't want to give up a single inch. Luckily that didn't harm either of us badly. I just wonder if we had behaved like that in a real world and with real cars or had we spared some money and body work...

Nice that you admit now that I had nothing to do with it.

Nobody's perfect but one should always try to admit if responsible for pushing someone out of track, say sorry and wait...
