ich habe gerade mal nachgeschaut ... im Sounds Ordner von GTL gibt es nur einen Dateityp - .wav.
Und das bedeutet 16 bit @1411 Kbps und 44,1 Khz.
32bit (float wohlmöglich) bringt am Ohr nicht viel.
Man kann in (8), 16, 24 oder 32 bit aufnehmnen, aber als edgültige Ausgabe sollte man eher zu 16bit greifen ... allein weil einzelne Freeware-Mediaplayer 32 bit nicht unterstützen (traurig aber wahr).
Meine Mediaplayer unterstützen zwar fast alle 32bit float, aber bei 96 Khz Aufnahmen sind sie alle Still
Sowas kann ich mir nur in Cubase (oder anderen DAW's) anhören.
Die Soundquali hängt ohnehin mehr von der bittiefe ab ... mir ist gerade kein digitales Audioformat bekannt, dass durchgehend mit über 1400Kbps arbeitet.
16bit-.wav ist da schon keine schlechte Wahl.
Und egal ob es nun Autosounds sind, oder Musik ... man möchte, dass das möglichst viele Menschen mit ihrer HW/SW hören können ... also gibts den kleinsten Nenner und der heißt seit über 20 Jahren 16bit-.wav.

Übrigens echt schade, dass bei den erhältlichen Versionen dieses Spiels die Originalmusik nicht dabei ist ... aber was will man dagegen schon tun?
