Finally I joined a 60 Cup race again.

The 911 2.0 went well here with great topspeed and very good fast cornering.
P3 in qualy, nice. I had a great start and went into the lead! But....the bollards at the chicane....both me and girindus were caught and we crashed!
OK, here we go, once again, KETCHUP!
The car was damaged but it was ok enough to keep going and bit by bit I managed to get forward. Great pass on Truman who fought with massimo and I sneaked by!
Massimo was now in front of me and after two laps I tried a pass outside where the old track goes to the newer track but unfortunatily we touched and I swerved off the track, damn.
I managed to get back and pass Truman who had been in trouble. When I caught Massimo I entered the pits.

Full tank and lets see!
It went well although I made a few mistakes and already had 2 cuts... I got by molleri who was on good form. I had some luck where others went off and so I gained positions.
girindus had made a great first stop and stayed in front, no way to catch him! Good man. But he had severe issues with hayman in the Simca and deserved better.
I seemed to me hayman hadn't practiced or a damaged car because he took lines I never saw from him before.

After the second stop I was 5th behind girindus who was faster and got away bit by bit. But he got it wrong in the chicane again and I flew by!
A VERY scary moment happened when molleri had keyboard trouble right as he came out of the pits and he slowly crossed the track when I was approaching full speed!!! JUST avoided him, oh man that was something.
In front Dimi was catching fred when fred got a phonecall from Mercedes to replace Lewis for 2022 so he had to stop at the hairpin. I gained 4th place!
Dimi was to far ahead and got 3rd. Shags and Alvaro got 1st and 2nd and so it finished. Well pleased with 4th after that start incident! And 7th overall! Great.

Grats to taffy for taking the overall victory! With a fastest lap of 2.17 that is some consistent driving!! In practice we were pretty close. Could have gone better for me.

I hope to join again in this marvelous series.
Next up is Longford, nice for Porsche with 20kg....

So much action in this race. I start terrible. I forgot to change to 1st gear and was 1 second slower at the start. Fortunately I lost only 2 positions but after that my Simca was struggling on the straights and was one of the slowest there even though overall I was one of the fastest.

Nice battles with Pampa and Manfred at the first laps, battle and chase with Alvaro and chase with Fred at the very end.

It was a race that has to be watched.

Das Ergebnis hatte mich selbst überrascht

...und nach den Pleiten und Pannen der letzten Rennen sehr gefreut

Auf jeden Fall meine besten Glückwünsche an alle, die angekommen sind und den / die Macher dieser tollen Rennserie.

Diese TC-65 mach echt Spaß und ermöglicht oft sehr spannende Rennen.

your hit did not do great damage! the 2 hits of Grindus later were very harder. Seriously my FPS went down to 27. After Pitstop FPS ok, but some laps later again only 27.

btw: I know that track very well, did lots offline training

btw2: you were behind me, it was last right corner, I think. first laps, maybe 2nd or third.

btw3: right turn means: you can guess if driver before will turn to left or right, whatever the line is, brake pedal is the middle one.....

Right, here we go.
Lap 1 you had a moment with Molleri which might have damaged your front right suspension.
Replay nr.; 313 , I pass you cleanly on lap 2 or 3 2 turns before the finish straight without ever touching you. Your car doesn't move either so even with possible lag stuff or so , no touching. After that we never met, only one time when I lapped you without being near your car.

492; girindus sees a good gap for passing you on topspeed in turn 1 but you close the door so hard that he has nowhere to go. Damage? Of course. Your own fault.

680; You hit the bollards at the chicane and get more damage, nobody's fault but your own.

So please, check the replay first before falsly accusing people.

first: you checked the replay, saw my lines. So it was not necessary to say I did not do practice.
Replay 313: That was totally ok, your overtake. Safe and sure from both drivers.
Replay 413: You did not mention this. There Girindus did not find the middle pedal. But I thought it was you. Sorry, that looks as falsy accusing people,(you and him in green porkas )It was Girindus!
But I did not accuse him, that was ok, Girindus said sorry, we had our fun again.
Replay 492: The line there is clear: go to the right to get next left turn. Girindus had more room on right side, did not catch the apex as good as possible, but due to his speed he went more to right side as he wanted. But even here: no falsly accusing people from me! ! !
