Driving in the pack, side by side doing neck & neck races is important not the position you are in. If someone slides off the track or they are a bit slower we wait for them to catch up so we can all drive and jostle just having fun together.
And if you knock a driver off the track: Say sorry and WAIT!

Teamspeak: Would be great, but it's not a must.

Schade, dass Cadwell wohl nicht für soviele Autos gemacht sind, denn der boxenplatz mitten auf der Strecke war so wohl nicht beabsichtigt

Aber beim ersten Rennen hatte ich endlich mal ein schönes Rennen, ohne dreher und sogar ein paar fights

Dann natürlich den "keine Autos bug" und beim dritten rennen war zumindest bei mir alles durcheinander, so bin ich im endeffekt nur eins gefahren ^^

Captain Slow (aka "Fire-Head" will post dates and further information at this thread in German and English language there!

If you need some further information or help, it would be a great idea to install and use TEAMSPEAK.

Most drívers here on the Altbierbude will be able to talk in english, also we have a a lot of native english speaking members here!

If you need any specific help or descriptions, please contact "Fire-Head", "GeeDee" or "bug" via PN. I'm sure they will support you.
Alternatively you can contact me also. I'm german, but I would try to assist as far as I'm able.

Ive had big issues with my computer of late, including 2 full installs and now I'm using Win7 O/S and need help to get GTL back on here.

to install GTL you should read this. Its important to make all steps in this order - then the result will be a well running GTL.



to install GTL : Here is the translation from Moorhuhn of the chapter Installation/FAQ:

install from DVD - !!Don't start the game!!
*Update to Version 1.1.0.0
*Install Python, Wxpython and the Autoupdater from here
*Go to Autoupdater -> Tweaks -> GTL-Patch (170MB to download)
* Run the Autoupdater (be patient, 15GB skins and tracks to download via P2P)
* When the Updater has finished, you can unlock all cars and tracks in the autoupdater (make TG2001.DYN) and set the car prices to 1 - not 0, as you can't sell them afterwards, if you like to
*Join us on track..

To get your old Profiles, copy the folder /gtl/profiles into the new gtl-folder.

- We want to have fun TOGETHER, that means:
- We wait about the drivers wich come off track
- We wait for the slowest driver
- drive possibly in a group
- We like head to head races

If you kick some driver off the track then say sorry and WAIT. Try it at the next possibility again
