I hope to do another race soon using the Add On cars listed below. It will be an open event on a first come basis for Bude drivers this time and anyone who would like to participate MUST HAVE ALL OF THE CARS LISTED BELOW PLEASE. More details to follow.

Note from CY-33 about the Corolla from the man who should know!
You do not need to download the "single cars" from GTR4U ending with CY or CO - these cars where done by me and cooky and they are included in the V1.2 pack.

so you can safe time not downloading them and in some cases the cars in the V1.2 pack even look better because they are later versions and the cars with big spoilers might cause bad textures on the spoiler but they will run in game anyways (but might look stupid..

you tould me of a race with the triumpf TR4!

I have big problems with the TR4.
Always when I choose the Triumpf, my GTL crashed and i am back on Desktop.

Hi Olli,

some of the addons don't extract in the corresponding folders, although they claim it in the readme. Maybe there is something wrong with that? Especially the sound files come into my mind, as you can see the car already inside GTL... just a thought.

manche der Addons entpacken sich nicht in die entsprechenden Ordner, obwohl es im Readme so drinsteht. Vielleicht ist das der Grund? Mir kommen die Sound-Files in den Sinn, da Du den Wagen schon in GTL auswählen kannst... nur ein Gedanke.

The Downloads of the Numbers 95f and 100f at no-grip don't work
Does anyone know another server hosting these cars??

Hi Kiddi,

I have just downloaded these cars without a problem.

When downloading on NoGrip you are only allowed 2 files at any one time. So if you are trying to download a third file while two are still being dealt with nothing happens . Wait until only 1 file is downloading and try again.

NoGrip also has a restriction on the amount of downloads you can get in each 24 hour period. Some get past this by registering under 2 different names so they get twice as much!

Good news chaps!

I have permission to run a this Sloppy Race next Tuesday on my sloppy server.

There appears to be a lot of interest in the Toyota Corolla and it's real fun handling so I am hoping that this night will be a great success as CY-33 richly deserves recognition for this very fine car. And good support of this event may help us convince 10tcle that these cars are really wanted to be recognized on GTL

Bad news is that space on my server for drivers will be limited to just 20 drivers in order to maintain a decent connection. However, if anyone else could volunteer there services in running a server please let me know.

Any driver interested in this race can you please let me know as soon as possible (ASAP) so I can assess the server situation.

I'll just wait until tomorrow and download the last two files, so you don't have to mail these to me... Would be enough time until tuesday.

I'm interrested in taking part on tuesday, but can't say if I have enough time (girlfriend, work,... )

Sloppy Car Sprint Races Fun Event for Add On (MOD cars)

Tuesday 22nd January. Sorry but only 20 available places on this private server. First come first served. Unless you can help put a server on, see the foot of this page for details. Race will be passworded and found 30 mins before 1st race.

Practice at 9pm CET (8pm UK) for 10 mins
Qualifying 9.10pm CET (8.10pm UK) for 20 mins
Race 9.30pm CET (8.30pm UK) for 10 laps

Put on your own server: My server is just run of my home computer it's nothing really special, probably just like you have. So, if you have a good steady cable internet connection and a decent computer and your GTL game is quite stable then you could easily put your own server on and help to cater for any overflow of drivers for this competition.

Try it now for yourself. Open the GTL folder on your hard drive and look for GTLDedicated. Click on this and it will say Initializing Server and just simply follow the simple instructions and you can set up all the parameters needed to run a race. It really is very easy to do.

If these races are a success then it will become a weekly event till hopefully 10tacle recognise these Add On cars and help the Bude to be able to run them on their own servers so PLEASE GIVE US YOUR SUPPORT. The guys who made these mods and had anything to do with them richly deserve better recognition for all of their hard work
