Is this situation normal?
Does it mean my GTL install is messed?

Have you installed any cars by hand yourself or have you just installed using the Autoupdater? If you have installed cars by hand were they Bude cars or from elsewhere? Cars form other places are not allowed on the Bude so best to delete those file if there are any and keep a clean Bude install.

Whenever you are unsure about your Altbierbude GTL installation it is best to first start up the Autoupdater and then click on Commands/Reinstallation. This won't reinstall everything but actually checks the install you have for any problems.

Thanks for answering Geedee, and no I didn't manually download/install anything else apart from the ABB Autoupdater contents.

So you confirm that the "owned cars" cannot be more than the total, and mine is not a "normal" situation?
I'll try with a reinstallation.

By the way, ABB's total "offer" lists 2133 vehicles and I have less than that...

That´s total normal, the car´s are counted
by the Type (e.g. Mini Cooper and the available paintjobs), so for the Mini 38 Cars available.

Now after running a "reinstallation" my autoupdater is installing a lot of cars from "local files" since more than 15 minutes...and still going...

It will take a little while but not even near as long as a full install.

After installing many cars, my GTL didn't hit the exact 2.133 available vehicles yet.

It was much closer than before, but still not on target. Now I'm at work and I cannot check the exact numbers, I'll report later this evening.

I can't have a look yet, but as far as I remember, my installation doesn't match the exact number of cars neither - never had any problems racing online, though.

Best test of your installation is going onto the ABB-servers and hit the road a few laps...

BTW: The autoupdater "reinstall"-command always finds a few files to play with. So it is not a proper tool to tell, if the installation is good. As said: if there are problems, they will show online and after that, one can take care of...

Well it was not SO closer, it's not on target and numbers are in fact more or less the same ("owned 2134 of 2119".

This is after:
- archive cleanup
- set price to 1
- reinstallation



Ok, I'll go smashing some more cars and not worry too much about how many I have.
