Hi alle,

folgende neue Spinnerei von GTL-online :

Alles läuft seit Tagen super und stabil, jedoch sobald der Fahrer "Driver Lobby: Jan Tencer" dabei ist, flieg ich z. B. beim nächsten Umschalten zur Boxenansicht raus (GTL klappt komplett zu).


Ebenso wenn ich beitreten möchte und er ist bereits dabei stürzt das Spiel beim Laden vom "Driver" immer ab.

KEINE AHNUNG!!!

When you say GTL crashes the game, do you mean it flashes on & off when he joins?

If so then you must try and find out which car he is using and then check and see if you have it.

It sounds like you do not have the car that he has, this sometimes happens and it causes what we call an "Infinite Loop".

Once you find the car then download it manually and put it into your GTL installation and everything should be OK... unless you still don't have all of the cars

I hope that explains what you need to know.

Its a standard car of GTL!

I tested now to enter with this car myself and GTL also closed.

Hi Spritty,

Go to Home Page / Reporter / Pit Lane and enter the vehicle' BMW CSL in the search box.

Look on the 2nd page for this car:



Then download and install it into your GameData / Teams / GTC-TC-76 / BMW CSL folder

All will hopefully be ok.

Thanks, but it's not possible to download there, i think cause its a standard-car.

d.h. werd nacher homal den Wagen außerhalb des Spiels suchen, aber im Spiel ist er angetickt - bin ja früher hie und da mit ihm gefahren.

-When I try to connect to the online setups database I always get a CTD, whatever car or track I`m currently in...

...My first thought was to remove all the setups folders from my installation, and try again, but before I do that, I`d like to hear Your opinions please

-I heard that a few other users are experiencing the same issue...

-My GTL started to behave this way a week ago...

Weiß auch leider nicht was eine cbs-Version ist, sorry.
Ich hab das Spiel vor ca. 4 Jahren gekauft von amazon - hat ne normale DVD-Hülle mit Handbuch.

Sicher weiß ich nur, daß der BMW #870 bei mir installiert ist. Hab den Ordner auch manuell gefunden.
Soll man ein "Standard"-Auto nochmal downloaden und wenn ja, wie?

GeeDee hat vor einigen Tagen gesagt, daß mir sowieso einige Dateien fehlen, aber der Autoupdater behauptet das Gegenteil

Nein, den kannst du nicht runterladen, der Updater saugt logischerweise nur alle Addons. Natürlich kannst du mal auf "NEuinstallation" gehen und deine Installation checken.

Ansonsten poste doch mal die Trace, das interessiert den geneigten Problemlöser.

Ich möchte an dieser Stelle einmal bemerken, daß ich noch nirgendwo anders im Web soviel Unterstützung und Geduld erlebt habe wie hier! Selbst die kleinsten Problemchen und die größten Idioten (wie ich manchmal) werden hier ernst genommen!!! DANKE!!!:lol:

You are welcome.

If you still have problems with that BMW CSL which is a default car then I would suggest that you reinstall GTL and do it like this.

Reinstall from Disc:
1... Use the Uninstall feature on the GTL disc. DO NOT uninstall any other way as this can cause data loss.

2... Reinstall GTL from the Disc.

3... Reinstall the 1.1 patch.


Reinstall from CBS version:
1... Delete the 4 .exe files in the GTL folder.

2... Reinstall GTL.


That should fix any problems that you have with default cars.

Points to remember: Always be extremely careful where you put any files into the GTL folders. If you are not sure where they go either don't do it or ask first.

Try this as it has worked for me and some drivers:

1... Go to Windows / System32 / Drivers / etc / hosts open this file with NotePad or Wordpad.

2... Add the following lines (cut & paste) if they are missing:
87.106.79.180 gtl-lobby.bierbuden.de
87.106.79.180 www.gtl-server.net

Please let us know if it works for you.

Hi, Hallo Männer,
mich würde noch interessieren welche unterschiede zwischen der CBS(ComputerBildSpiele)und der original GTL Version bestehen.Habe die CBS Version jetzt drauf,startet super schnell ohne Starforce Copyprot. und leise weil das CD laufwerk leer is!!

Wenn ich das richtig rausgelesen habe fehlen original Autos. Wenn ja welche,da ich beide Versionen habe könnte ich die Fahrzeuge die fehlen rüberkopieren.
Kurz Original installieren unter anderem Ordner,Fahrzeuge rauskopieren inkl. Sounddateien und dann wieder deinstallieren oder?


Oder was hab ich falsch verstanden

1) Habe GTL neu installiert über die disc (dann natürlich Patch)- scheint alles ok

2) Habe deine Tipps bezüglich "hosts"-file durchgeführt.

Habe jetzt mit verschiedensten BMW CSL versucht selber ein online-Spiel einzusteigen:

BINGO - jedesmal Absturz beim versuch eigenes Fahrzeug zu laden!!!!!!
D. h.: es betrifft sowohl Default- als auch addon-BMW CSL...
poste hier mal die trace-Datei, sollte jemand damit was anfangen können.



Hoffe ich bekomm das irgendwie in den Griff, sonst kann ich das "Duell" am Do und überhaupt die ganze ETCC vergessen...

Update 09.02.2010 :

Betrifft nicht die Addon-CSLs, da gehts problemlos einem Spiel damit beizutreten.

Jedoch beim (Standard-)CSL #870 immer noch dasselbe Spiel. Weiß jetzt nicht obs auch andere Standard BMW betrifft (gibts überhaupt welche?).


Bitte bitte bitte bitte könnte sich jemand, der sich auskennt die beigefügte trace-Datei (nach neuerlichem Absturz) anschauen?
