Update not possible... 16 Years, 2 Months ago  
Hi, piero from italy, gtl user 33stradale.
From yesterday my old profile zibbi(1) doesn't exist anymore, no data, vanished.. mah?..
Anyway, I've create a new profile - 33stradale, exactly - and actually I'm online, no troubles.
But I tried to update preluk74 and the message is:
UPDATE IS NOT POSSIBLE BECAUSE THERE'S NOT READ/WRITE PERMISSION FOR THE FOLDER: C;/GTLegends.
Can somebody help me?

It should be C:\, not C;/, when I am right. It seems, that the Updater can´t find the archive folder or the game, because of changed device path.

How cah happen such things?
I've never modified pc folders, I don't know how do it..
I've tried in updater to put back slash but doesn't run.
have to modify setting of c: folder on pc?
HOW!!???

Reinstallation?

Hi Piero,

maybe it is simply that, what the message is about to tell you. You have to check the rights for reading and writing of your GTL folder and enable them for the current user.

I had the same message after changing my user profil to non-admin rights for safety reasons.

And BTW you can rename your new driver profil to the old name zibbi, or add the missing / corrupted files in the folder named zibbi.

Ok, two questions:
- why this happens also on another pc, where I've anonther profile and is in another place?
- how can I check the rights for reading and writing my GTL folder and enable them for the current user or rename my new profile or add corrupted files in the old profile?
