Hi all,

I'm new here but have enjoyed racing on the 'bude servers very much.

It seems to me that to encourage more rookies to stick at it and improve it may be a good idea to have a rookie sprint cup or similar? Less than 10 laps per track over a few tracks and some kind of glorious forum post for the winner...?!

Or am I jumping the gun, does such a thing exist...?! Either way, help on this matter would be appreciated.

Thanks for this, maybe I should change my post to: Any chance of an ENGLISH Rookie Sprint Cup/League....?! My German is pretty much non existant , is there any way I can keeo up with this on the english boards?

I guess you should stay in contact with GeeDee, and both communicate this with Magicgrip.
Why not having mixed german/english races? One of you would just have to translate the german posts, with some webtranslator (and correct it, cause webtranslators only help you to get the sense of a post, but they don't translate perfect).
Try to contact MagicGrip, I think he ll help you.

Hi jmayna, in our Rookie Club there´s most times a few english men with us. And most of us speak english (less or more) - so why don´t you just join tonight and see if you like it? I don´t object to an "ENGLISH Rookie Sprint Cup/League" but I fear you won´t find enough members.

So if you wanna join tonight (at 8 pm german time) we will drive:
1. race: Mid-America with Porsche 904 / NSU TT
2. race: Spa with Porsche 914 / Nissan Skyline
3. race: Mosport with Porsche 906 / 911

Yep was planning on putting in an appearance tonight, had some good races last night on the bude so hoping to put in a reasonable performance tonight...

Glad to hear that we can overcome the language barrier, it's great that we can all race eachother from across the globe, but would be even better if we could understand eachother too!

I take your point about the lack of English players on the server, do you reckon that there could be enough for a Nationals race, England vs. Germany or Germany vs. Rest of Europe?

Just a thought, but again I'm sure that such a thing has happened or already exists...!

In the past "Germany vs Rest of europe" didn't go out well , so let's just have some fun together.

My issue is I don't get home until after 10 CET.. walked in and its already race 3 of the rookie evening...

Ahh well..

Hi SKurj, some time ago we discussed about starting the event later, but some of us have to get up early in the morning. Anyway, with the official end of the event the evening isn´t finished as allways some guys are driving till late at night.
