Anyone know of a GREAT Skinning Guide?

I made a skin for GTL mini S and now I'm stuck. I can't seem to figure out how to get it to show up in the game. Any Help would be wonderful, Thanks...

Just a file called XXX_AUSTIN_MINI_BODY1.DDS?
Like this for example?


Did you do it with Gimp or Photoshop?

Do you know how to convert it to .DDS format? Because that's the file-format you'll need to put it into the(for example) TEX.gtl and ULTRA_TEX.gtl files.
