für das Event heute Abend wird es jeweils 10min Training und 15min Qulifikation geben. Nach Lauf 1 gibts also die Möglichkeit zur Pinkelpause Die Servereinteilung gilt für beide Läufe, auch wenn jemand z.B. nur Lauf 2 fahren kann.
Die beiden Rennen zählen jeweils zu 50% zur Teamwertung. Für die inoffizielle Einzelwertung, nach der auch die Gewichte vergeben werden, zählen sie nicht. Da ist keine sinnvolle Auswertung möglich. Also wird sich für Estoril auch nichts an den Penalty Gewichten ändern.
Für die offizielle Fahrer-KM Wertung zählen sie dann doch.

Seht das ganze bitte einfach als das, was es sein soll: Ein Experiment am lebenden Patienten ETCC für zusätzliche Rennformate. Sollte der allgemeine Tenor nach dem Event sein, Gott wie grausam, dann war es das erste und letzte Ovalevent in der ETCC. Das entscheidet ihr mit eurem Feedback, also immer her mit euren Meinungen.

also mir hat das Event gefallen, bin ja bekennender Oval Freund.

Rennen 2 war wirklich prima, ohne Gerangel durchgekommen, dazu rundenlange Duelle mit anderen Fahrern.

Das Format ist gut so, denke 2 Stunden Oval am Stück muß nicht sein.

Gerne wieder so ein Event.

Ich fand es auch gut. Auf jeden Fall ist es eine gute Idee, ein Oval in den ETCC Rennkalender aufzunehmen.

Ich fand es auch sehr gut. Man konnte im 2. Rennen die Fehler aus Rennen 1 korrigieren.
Gerne jedes Jahr so einen Doppelsprint auf einem Oval einbauen.

Netter Test, um zu schauen, was ein Reifenwechsel bringt oder kostet. In diesem Fall gar nichts, beide Rennen mit der gleichen Endzeit beendet, erstes ohne, zweites mit Reifenwechsel.

Was ekelhaft auf diesem Oval war, ist wenn man Platz zum Überrundenlassen macht, dann ist die komplette Rundenzeit für die Tonne. Wenn Ovalrennen, dann bitte eines mit längeren Geraden.

My two cents on yesterday's race. The test and the race were extremely interesting and fun. It also gave the Audis a boost with the advantage of front-wheel drive. From that point of view, it's an excellent starting point for perhaps incorporating an oval race into the ETCC each season (Talladega or Indianapolis, but I know there are others), but repeating yesterday's format (two one-hour sprint races). One thing I agreed with my teammates from Xungos and Ballesta is that a rolling start would be more "natural," rather than a classic standing start.

On the other hand, and here comes the lamenting, this race penalized us Xungos excessively. We dropped from 3rd to 6th place! I lost about 30 laps after an unintentional collision with Bertolucci, due to a huge lap, and I couldn't get back on track. I'm leaving the video here, and I'd appreciate an Olympic-style judging panel...

Mis dos centavos por la carrera de ayer. El test y la carrera fue sumamente interesante y divertida. Le dio vida tambien a los Audi con la ventaja de la traccion delantera. Desde ese punto de vista, es un excelente puntapie inicial para, tal vez, incorporar una carrera en Ovalos en la ETCC en cada temporada (Talladega o Indianopolis, pero se que hay mas), pero repitiendo el esquema de ayer (2 carreras sprint de una hora). Una cosa que comparti con miscompañeros de xungos y Ballesta es que seria mas "natural" una salida en movimiento, y no una clasica detenida.

Por otro lado, y aqui entra el llanto parroquial, esta carrera nos penalizo a los Xungos en forma exagerada. de 3 a 6 puesto!. Perdi como 30 vueltas, tras chocar en forma involuntaria con Bertolucci, por un gran lagazo, y sin posibilidad de reincorporarme
Dejo el video, y pido que dejen una valoracion tipo jurado olimpico...

Nach 50 Runden hatte ich Rückenschmerzen vom ständigen links beugen und nach 84 Runden war ich dann am Ende

Alles drehte sich in meinem Kopf
3 Stunden im Kreis zu fahren sind zu viel für mich, bin wahrscheinlich zu alt dafür

Oval Event bei der ETTC, habe im Vorfeld mit einem
totalem Caos bei den Rennen gerechnet da viele von uns keine Oval-Erfahrung haben.
Überraschender Weiße lief dann doch alles recht sauber ab und hat mir großen Spaß gemacht.
Durch ihre langjährige Erfahrung, sind die ABB-Fahrer eben sehr gut in der Lage sich auf neue Bedingungen einzustellen.
Von mir aus können wir gerne weiterhin ein Oval im
Kalender mit aufnehmen.
Es muss jedoch eine Strecke sein, bei der kein Dauervollgas möglich ist, sonst macht das ja keinen Sinn.

I don't really like ovals, but I have to say that adding an oval like this to the ETCC is a good idea.
I think the kg should be implemented in the same way as they are at Goodwood (after all, they are also independent races in which a driver participates, or not, more times). It makes sense that there are no kg in the pure team event because there is no way to measure it, but in an event with a set start and finish, I don't see why not.

As for the race, it went a little better than I expected. The kg in a two-stop car made it impossible to go fast. At least I worked on consistency, which was the only thing I could “defend” myself with.

Yes, I think an oval track in the ETCC is appropriate.

As far as points are concerned, yesterday more than ever, the minimum of 260 km was noticeable (195pt!!) because it is a fast (very fast) track. The faster the track, the greater the difference between the drivers at the top and those at the bottom.
I still think that a very (very!) subtle difference between being lapped and not being lapped would improve the fun and excitement of being close in points. A team with 300 in ALL races can lose the championship and even the podium in a single race, or a team fighting for the top 10 could drop to last place in the team standings... but this is something that has no place being discussed in the middle of a championship. Lets keep going!

Also grundsätzlich bin ich kein Freund von Oval-Rennen. Aber als Abwechslung im ETTC-Kalender kann man das schon fahren.

Der Alfa war - wie fast immer - leider nicht konkurrenzfähig. Aber jammern gilt nicht: für die Fahrzeugwahl ist jeder selbst verantwortlich.

Im zweiten Rennen hatte ich mit Lags zu kämpfen und bin von hinten abgeschossen worden und über dem Zaun gelandet. Also ähnlich wie Pampa im 1. Lauf nach der Kollision mit mir. Wobei ich im 1. Lauf eigentlich keine Lags hatte … trotzdem sorry, falls ich der Grund für deinen Ausfall war.

Ovals might not be popular in Europe, however, they have a great potential for fun races, because of the slip-stream battles.

However, they are great if there are more people, just like here in ABB, otherwise, if you lose the slip-stream it might be kind of boring.

What is even more interesting is that they are suitable for many different car combinations.

So because of all this, I am a huge fan for 1 oval race in every ETCC Season as well. Maybe not Indianapolis, as the corners there are flat out though. Rockingham is a better option in this case - you have to slow down for the corners, which requires setup and driving technique.
