I tried to search on the Bude forums, but maybe I wasn't good at setting the search criteria, and so I ask this question:
What is the (main) difference between the two tracks "Targa Florio Historic" and "Targa Florio Regular"?
Lately you shared them both on the "ABB Server 8#", I rode them entirely but I didn't see any differences.

Hi Lucas,
I can confirm your impression, that the ‘Regular’ and the ‘Historic’ version feel the same.
I had just a quick look into the files and found, that the ‘Regular’ has a bigger grid.
But this is not relevant, because most people are doing just the practise or qualification and will not notice the bigger grid for a race start.
Additional are more objects defined in the ‘Regular’ files, but I haven’t noticed them on driving yet.

The raw track definition in the AIW-files with length, number of waypoints, waypoint coordinates and descriptions are exactly the same(!) on both versions.
That means for me, no differences on the track, just some more graphical objects somewhere…

Thanks Dirk, but...:

There is one more important point to mention.
The white/black path boundaries and other objects are fixed on the Regular.
This is different on the Historic, where you can drive through these objects. You don't destroy your vehicle immediately and can cut (drive a faster line).

Wer bei mir mal onboard mitfahren möchte, ein paar Aufnahmen habe ich auf YouTube. Kann man vielleicht nicht so genießen wie bei dem Video von Jens, aber dafür ist es ungeschminkt und ein paar Stellen erkennt man wieder.
