Fanatec Forza CSR wheel 13 Years, 5 Months ago
|

Hello all, I have just bought Forza CSR wheel and can not get any feedback or rumble effects on GTL.
I wonder if anyone has the same wheel and can help me with set up and finding the problem.
Here's hoping and best wishes from,
Maurice

Hi Koi,
there are three possible reasons for that:
- your wheel is not in PC mode
- FF is turned to 0
- choose in GTL a profile of a FF wheel (e.g. Logitech)
Good luck! - CU on track!

Thanks for your help Jens.
When I change the ff (on the wheel)from 10 to 100 I get is a wheel which is easy to turn all the way through to 100% which then feels very heavy, but no feel of track or rumble strips.
The wheel does not start working until I select PC mode.
And in the control setup of GTL it shows as Forza CSR wheel.
Still no work?
Maurice.

Hi Maurice,
sounds a bit as if you`ve got the center spring engaged. It`s better to turn the center spring off.
The GT3RS has the center spring option in the driver menue.

Hi Jens,
For PC mode it seems the spring is not adjustable.
As I point of interest, I have run the wheel on an Xbox and all the feedback effects work out of the box with no adjustments (F1 game 2011).
Still can't figure why there is no feedback in either GTL or Rfactor (the only PC games I can try).
Xbox is no problem, PC games no feedback
Still looking for ideas.
Maurice.

Hi Maurice,
the center spring is adjustable in the driver menue via check box (on/off).
Please check the driver menue or check if the driver is installed at all.
You will find the driver on the Fanatec site under support.
Fanatec has updated their drivers for the new wheels.
Cheers,
Taffy (Jens)

Hi Maurice,
maybe an obvious point, but the wheel has to be "clicked" in the menue, even if it shows up in the list... (?)
Sometimes, problems result of minor things...
