Hi, fellas!

Even now, when I join some Bude servers, I go into a loop condition. Sometimes, I enter without drama and am able to drive without troubles but the moment I go back to the garage/menu, the looping starts and usually locks in on one player who's joined after me. Does this mean that someone is not updated via the script? I strongly suspect that this is the case. If so, why aren't these players booted to clear the loop?

If people can't be bothered to update regularly via the scripting, they shouldn't be allowed to participate as it ruins the show for others.

You're right. Someone hasn't downloaded all cars. In this case it's you who haven't done it and due to that you become an infinite loop when someone joins the game with a car you haven't downloaded yet. So try th reinstallation button in your autoupdater it should solve this problem.

Actually, no, it isn't at my end. I updated this morning a number of hours ago...Valentia City course, iirc, was available...and there were no cars to be picked up. I went to Laguna after that and found the looping. I just moments ago checked for updates and there aren't any new ones available since my update of earlier today. It's the joker who hasn't bothered to update that's causing the grief...not me.

This needs to be addressed so that nobody without full updates can join and ruin it for others.

You try the reinstall button? It compares your installation if all things are installed as they should.

Sorry, Provocateur, but you are really the one with the missing files! Like B8man said, try the reinstallation button and your problem should be solved!

OK, fellas. I followed your suggestions re the re-install and discovered to my horror that I was in need of over 100 Mb worth of files. Sigh...

I'm fully up to date now but am shaking my head at why this re-install procedure is necessary. I update virtually every day. Cannot the script look after this automatically?

So now I'm up to speed on the re-install thingie but could somebody please explain why, every day, and despite my acknowledgement and move to install them, I have the same files coming up for re-install?

The same ones every day. They appear with an attypical yellow background for some reason. Very odd...and annoying.

And yet again, after picking up the Alastaro update this AM, the same files noted above required re-installation.

If anything requires an update, it's the script itself.
