Today I want to introduce the 1933 Napier-Railton.
It has a Napier-Lion plane engine with 24 litres piston displacement, 550 bhp, 12 cylinders in W-Form (I wonder how much torque?).
It won the 500 Miles of Brooklands and broke several 24h speed world records. It still holds the fastest Lap time in Brooklands Outer-Circuit with an average speed of 230,8 km/h.
It only had 3 unsynchronized gears, no front brakes, just small ones on the rear. Braking wasn't that important.
Fuel consumption: 140 litres on 100km.
But who cares about numbers, this car is a motorsport monument, a human built earthquake: I wish I could show you more pics, but this forum is not very picture friendly.

Notice there is only 1 wheel on the ground because the road at Brooklands was so bumpy. The car on the pic runs at an estmated 180-190 km/h:

This was the time the drivers were truely brave men, who in the right mind would drive a rocket with no brakes, this was the pioneers of the today´s world racing, thank you brave men.

Now the car, even on today´s standards this is an impressive racing machine, what super-rocket-with-no-brakes-racing-car.
