During an unannounced audit of the records irregularity was found.
Since early days of the "Bude" the logs where not handled accurate, wrong Odometer values are the result.
The appraisal has shown that uncompleted laps were counted with full lap distance.

The result is that ~42 mio. kilometers where charged to the drivers meanwhile our nit-picking auditors found out
that only ~23 mio. kilometers of virtual asphalt were offered to the drivers.
Luckily nobody was harmed because due to the fee rules of the "Bude" the usage is free of charge.

Faced with these accusations officials promised improvements in the recording and review of all logs.

So, you've removed only incomplete lap or every lap that doesn't produce time (included corner cut)?

Advantage of the fact that you are correcting the report to notify you that in first time, track "Nordschleife VLN 2007 - Release Candidat 4" recorded 292km/lap instead of 24,34km/lap, for example my record with Mercedes 300SL 03/06/08.

May be that other drivers have the same situation...

due to the coplete rebuild of the databe we've discovered a couple of BUGs in the website code...... ;-(

I will debug and fix the code first, that we will rebuild hopefully correct data again.

no no, mistake/bug is at GTL itself....

GTL dedi-server reports unfinished laps as finished onces.

So full lap distance was booked to the vehicle log althoght driver might only left the pits and pressed ESC.

I've improved the calculation base meanwhile so only finished laps will be recorded now, but all allready existing records needs to be re-handled by the software to correct the the accounts.

Since a lot of tracks/cars changed meanwhile it's not so easy ....

But I'm hopefully looking forward to get data sorted soon.

(It's a bit time consuming since we do have ~800.000 result files from all over the years)

yes, sometimes it seems so

Next version of the imported data is available.

Hopefully the background-task will count the laps more preceize now.

Even if cars are chenges during a single session these laps should be imported now (in past only laps of the last car used were counted).

The double import of data due to the summer-/wintertime bug of the GTL-dedi-server should also be solved now.
