BEX64 Indicates a buffer overflow or similar? corrupt dll?

I have been having this problem since last week, was running 32 bit windows at that point and as I planned to switch to 64 bit this week anyway I gave up and left it for this fresh install...

literally just formatted and installed fresh win7 64, up-to-date updates, fresh GTL and Autoupdate install....

any info appreciated

Hi Neil m8y I'm here!!!

I have just reinstalled Windows XP after trying out Windows7 so I have had to sort your problem out 2 times... ayeeeee I hate reinstalling

What I did was to re-download both Python files from Altbierbude/Gismos/Dies und Das and install the Python 2.7.1 first.

If you haven't got the Autoupdater already installed then do it now. You can get the program from the top of the same download page if you need to.

Next I clicked on the file 'altbierbude_en.pyw' which starts the Autoupdater. I put this file in my GTL folder.

Fill in all the details that it asks for and when it's all done it will start a check of your GTL installation. This could take an hour or more.

When it has finished doing it's work press next and the Autoupdater will start again and this time it will start to download whatever you need for the Bude and it will install it all. Make a cuppa coffee or something now.

When it's finished this long process and tells you that it's all done then click on Commands/Archive Cleanup and it will clean up (you still need to wipe your own keyboard down though )

Check the Options and Tweaks for any changes you need to make. I always Tweak the 'Set Car Price' so they cost what you can afford.

That's it m8!!!... If you didn't do it this way then that's probably why your having problems.

I have done this the same way for Windows7 and XP without a problem.

Well I installed again, just as you said and got the same error again, tried again to no avail, was about to chuck it all out the window when I forgot I was using the old update folder with my old cars tracks etc instead of new fresh folder

tried stipulating a fresh folder and away it went , paused update , pasted in my old cars tracks and resumed again...

updating as we speak, although there's a fair bit to go ( 5gb) hopefully I'll be taking you out, ahem, I mean seeing you soon
