a big thank you for all the competitors yesterday!

Shared many exciting moments with many of you.

It was one of the most exciting races for me ever although not so successful, "only" 7th.

A big part of that excitement came from so wide car palette and their characteritics.

Some were superior on straights like Corvette and Pantera, many others on curvy sections.

That made even possible subsequent drivers to chance positions twice on same lap.

That worked well with almost every driver.

But there was one driver that took the law in his own hands and blocked my Vette in the middle of the back straight. I was going to overtake him from right, he moved there, then I changed left and again he blocked me. Fair, isn't it!

He was then on better position but that's no excuse to do so. I was significantly faster there and I had not blocked him on following curvy section, that was already proven with driver on still better position than him a lap or two earlier.

I hope you all see me as a fair driver who always gives way to those on better position if that is needed.

If I had become a block ahead of him, I had given him clear way immediately. But blocking my way to be sure it won't even happen is really from arse - unfair and intolerable!

I have written a PM to this specific driver and I really hope this kind of behaviour doesn't exist any more on this series or any other!

If it does, next time I just drive over and fly us both to the moon if needed!

Ich fand das Rennen richtig klasse. Ich frage mich nur wie am Start der Pantera (?) senkrecht nach oben ging, habe kein Video davon. Sah aus wie ein Jumpjet
Ich habe 2 Stunden richtig mit meiner 2,6l Liter Schüssel gekämpft. Hat auch recht lange gedauert bis ich mit der Strecke klar kam, obwohl ich letzte Woche eine Stunde mit dem großen Capri geübt habe (2:04:..). Der kleine fährt sich irgendwie ganz anders (Aerodynamik, Anpressdruck?). Ich war froh, gestern eine 2:17.5 zu schaffen.

Auf jeden Fall habe ich die ersten Runden schöne Gefechte mit Desmo und T.Beck(?) gehabt, hat richtig Laune gemacht.

Wenn ich mich beim überrundet werden, manchmal mit ins Gefecht begeben habe, hat das damit zu tun, dass ich ab der 10ten Runde eigentlich nur noch Platz für die Überrunder gemacht habe. Da platzt einem schonmal der A.... und man will es einfach wissen
Ich denke aber es hat keinen zuviel Zeit gekostet. Ein oder 2 Berührungen habe ich verursacht, SORRY hierfür. Hatte die Karre nicht im Griff. Ich hoffe ich habe keine größeren Schäden verursacht. Mißverständnisse bezüglich der Überholseite gab es auch hier und da, gingen aber m.E. alle glücklich aus.

Also: Ich war gestern nach dem Rennen fix und alle, glaubts mir. Das hat nix mehr mit Spaß zu tun, sondern ist richtig harte Arbeit, die aber auf jeden Fall richtig Laune macht

Edit: Wo findet man eigentlich das Punktesystem, habe es nämlich nicht wirklich verstanden. So wie ich das sehe haben 5 Capris je 4 Punkte fürs Durchkommen erhalten, ist das richtig?

Für mich war das Rennen ein bischen frustrierend. Erst konnte ich vorne ziemlich gut mithalten, um dann um die 10. runde herum 2 Mal in der Chicane vor der Haarnadel zu optimistisch zu sein und den Frontspoiler und die Stoßdämpfer stark zu beschädigen.

Danach war ich nur noch schnell genug für das hintere Mittelfeld. Dabei wollte ich unbedingt mal vor Markus (Mropi) ins Ziel kommen.

Vielleicht das nächste Mal.
