Es passierte gestern am Pannonia Ring: Hektik im Rennen ließ meine Bierflasche umkippen und ihren Inhalt genau in die Tastatur meiner Frau litern (ihr PC steht direkt neben meinem). Die Folgen waren schrecklich: Das Rennen war gelaufen, mein gutes Pilsbier war weg (sorry, falsche Bude ), ich mußte die Sauerei aufwischen und durfte heute am Feiertag als erstes ihre Tastatur zerlegen und reinigen. Und wehe, wenn das nichts geworden ist und sie nicht mehr richtig Unreal Tournament zocken kann ... Also, der Spruch hat schon seine Berechtigung: Don't drink and drive !

It happened yesterday at Pannonia Ring: Hecticness during race let tip over my bottle of beer , injecting it's contents straight into my wifes keyboard (her Computer stands directly beside mine). The consequences were terrible: The race was gone, my good Pilsbeer had disappeared (sorry, wrong Bude ), I had to do the clean-up and today (official holiday in Germany) the repair of her keyboard. I hope I did my job well, so she can continue playing Unreal Tournament ... Well, the saying has its authorization: Don't drink and drive !

My wife is not much younger than me and my day of birth is shown behind the birthday cake in my profile on the left. Viper Racing, Unreal and Unreal Tournament were the beginning of 3D-gaming for me. And espacially UT and also Quake III are superb games to 'solve' marital problems with your partner. Shoot her down a few times and you are feeling much better - believe me, it works ...

Years ago I played Monkey Island on my Amiga 500 and accidently "poured" a glass of apple-juice into the keyboard (where also the mainboard, cpu, floppy disk etc. were placed). The savegame option of Monkey Island didnt work well, so I continued to play and the inevitable happened: the machine refused to work, damn
So I separated its components, placed them on the heating for a week and put all together again. For some weeks it only showed a yellow/blue/red-green screen when switched on, but finally it worked again! Tough technology i must say

when drinking and racing, i make sure the red wine (moved away from beer as it goes to my gut) is safe and the safest place is inside me.
