I did the altbierbude install on my computer. It started just fine, then a while into the install it stops extracting, then seems to lockup. When I check the game there is nothing installed.
I recently did the install with the pilsbier install, and let it create the archive file and it worked just fine. When I did the altbier install, I did the same thing and let it create the file on it's own. Which I see as a mistake because I think it over wrote the pils archive and now I cant update that one either.

Should I delete the install and start over?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Installing both Games anew is likely to solve your problems, but it means a lot of work and time passing. But before doing so, you could try to "refresh" the pilsbier-install using the updater - and then install GTL with a different archive-path. This won't take much less time, but you'll save that working pilsbier-install.

I can imagine, what the problem is. Both installs use the same or a similar updater-routines. So the location of the archive-folder the altbier-install suggested was just the same path, the pilsbier-install was given - overwriting the existant folder and files in the process.

Thus you'll need to change that path manually after one automated install (and each further install using the same update-routine).

I think reinstalling both is all you can do if that suggested "refresh" didn't work.

Thank you very much. I figured that a complete re-install would be the case. While it's more work, it is more fail safe. And I can run them at work when I don't need my computer.
Again thank you for your time.
