Could someone tell me after downloading a track (or a car) how do I instal it?

don't panic

there is a very handy tool/bit of software in the right hand panel of this site, in the box called Latest Gizmos, &quot;windows-Download Script v2.0&quot; this does everything automatically, you have to download the installer and run it, it will check the tracks and cars you have installed in your GTL and then download the new cars and tracks, then it will automatically install them in the correct place.

don't expect it to happen in 2 mins as there are a lot of tracks and cars.

if you still need to know where everything is

cars are in

blahblah/GTL/GAMESDATA/TEAMS/Car Class(GT65/GTC76)/Car Type(911)/Car Number


tracks are in

blahblah/GTL/Gamesdata/Locations/track names in question

Yes you can transfer the files to anywhere you want once downloaded 'drop &amp; drag' or whichever method you like.

The Download tool is a great piece of kit especially for anyone who is new to the 'Bude' or to GTL.

We are 99.996% mostly a good bunch of lads &amp; lasses on here so I hope you will enjoy racing with with us.

If you are new to on-line racing it is a good idea to familiarise yourself with the rules of the 'Bude' and rules of racing. Knowing &amp; using them will not just make you a better driver but a more respected racer.

All cars and all tracks are open to you to use as long as they have been downloaded.

Unfortunately due to the better speed of the Pantera it is not in use on all tracks or all of the servers. But if you see it can be used then you are able to race it.

It is important to make sure that you have all cars available on the Bude downloaded. The reason for this is that if you go on one of our servers and someone is driving a car that you have not downloaded then you will get what we call an infinite loop.

An infinite loop means that the track will load right up to the point where your Profile name is loaded. The screen then flashes on and off fast and continuously and it is virtually impossible to do anything, even to get back out is fairly hard.
