Sorry if this is not the right place to put this thread, but I don't see a better one...

From some time back, maybe a month or so, it is not possible to download anymore from Altbierbude using Firefox ! I think there was a new scipt added or something like that, which Firefox doesn't understand.

If I click on Donwload, the download begin in another tab as txt. If I right click and choose Save Link As, than actually the file is being downloaded - but as a htm file which than has to be renamed manually afterward to nameof file.rar...so in a way it does work but is rather cumbersome way to download.

Also download managers are useless, as they are seeing only the htm and not what is "behind".

So, the only way to download from this site is to use the dreaded IE, which I think is simply unacceptable for many people. Having to start IE just for one site is very annoying (...many people even don't have IE - Windows without IE runs much better so many chose to rip it out even before installation).

Computer savvy people all use Firefox. About 20% of all PC users use Firefox. Can you please make something for all of us Firefox users ?

I use firefox and luckily never experienced a problem. if it doesn't work for you, just try another firefox version or another browser - there are so many out there ... after all, it seem that you get what you want anyway.
