Thrustmaster Ferrari F430 wheel technical question 14 Years ago
                        Hi all

I have a Thrustmaster Ferrari F430 Force Feedback wheel, which is a very good one.

A couple of weeks ago, the left shifter microswitch started to act funny. Sometimes it switches 2 gears in once, some other doesn't work at all. I checked in windows properties and the corresponding test light flashes when I slowly release the shifter lever. It's the contact that doesn't work properly anymore.
Thrustmaster sent me the spare parts and I'm waiting for them. In the meantime I'd like to open the wheel and clean the microswitch, but I stopped after realizing that some screws are not easily accessible.
Has someone of you experience with dismounting this wheel? Is it complex?

Thanks to you all for your help

                        Hello,
I had also have the same wheel but I would not recommend it to other prople because I had also technical problems (problem with pedals).
I sent it back and now i have a Logitech DFGT and up to now i didnt have any problems with it. Maybe you should do the same if possible because the Logitech DFGT has the same price range.

A friend of mine with the same wheel had the brake pedal broke in 2, but the Thrustmaster assisstance promptly sent him a whole new pedal set and he's now happy and running again.
I'm having a worse experience because I'll have to replace the spare parts myself...
