hi everyone , im new to this forum and site but not to the game and i have a few questions

1:
do i have to use the autoupdater to start the game ?

2: assuming i do have to use it is there a script or tweak somewhere so that i can then set the affinity to both cores on my processor?

( running win7)
and have set all the permissions and none of my sim games are running from my
/Program Files : folder


other than that i am very happy to have found this site and hope ( when i finish updating ) to join you all on track very soon

Edit: After you patched the game, the autoupdater has to check your installation again, to set the new car classes.

The easyest way to get started is to download the "autoupdater".

installation needs about 14GB for the extra update folder and 15GB for the main gamefolder.

since you done with that follow the link on the main page under the big red traffic sign.

thanks guys , for the swift answer , autoupdater has been running for a few hours now , my game was already no-cd patched ( had to to run it on win 7 ((god bless starforce)))
so hopefully some time tomorrow all will be well

I forgotten, there can be problems with other mods by joining the Duden servers.
Its better to make a clean Altbierbuden Installation of the game.

I really sorry for this noob question, but I cannot download anything from this site.

I wouldn't like install the autoupdate softwear and download all contents... I just would like download 1-1 car or track, like this:

but if I click the download button:
ftp://ftp1.altbierbude.de:121/AddonTracks/ BathurstV1_01.zip

then I get an "connection error" screen.

I cannot download the autoupdater installer from the site, the problem is the same.

Sorry, the problem is solved.

It was firewall problem, the COMODO firewall don't asked me, just blocked the ftp download.

I have to temporarily change my firewall to
" allow all" when updating. afterwards i switch it back. hope this helps you.
