I looked at the specs of the mighty 935 porsches and i noticed that team21 lower the power of porsche 935.

As it turns out 935 works(which i think team21 925 represents) has 470KW instead of teamm21's 441kw

and where is 935/78(79) turbo with 504kw's (their r easy to make as only engine has turbo so it porduces 504 instead of 470kw's and body remains the same)

hope they will done it for gr.5 and also hope that WIP 935 moby dick wouldt have wrong specs like this works 935 so when they finished it hope he have REAL 630kw's in 935md/78 and 522kw's in 935md/81 version

935s -even the ´77 "Baby" Version (1425 ccm)- were all Turbo-boostet.

I think the 935 Mod for GTL has enough Power and its a very fine MOD.

So I´d say take it or leave it!

about power,it never enought power for me esspecialy as bmw's gr5 has plenty of power,which u can see on the straight on server 5 in battle 935 vs 320turbo(507kw) so we need real and stronger specification of 935/76 gr5

not quite correct:
935 1976 had 590 HP 433 kw
1977 had 630 HP = 463 kw
Moby Dick had 845 HP = 621 kw
all had a 4 gear-box

I don't know who's right or wrong but I think there is a certain amount of artistic licence used in this game even in the GTL default cars.

Just look at the Shelby Cobra & Shelby Daytona. In this game the Cobra is just a little faster. In reality the Daytona was designed for Le Mans because the Cobra was not aerodynamic enough and the Daytona was capable of around 30mph (48kmh) faster.

What is happening I would say is that modders try to make the cars competitive with others rather than just be in a slot by themselves.

Sometimes by just adjusting your gearing so the car reaches the rev limiter sooner can make the car a lot faster. I know the 935 can be one of these.

yep G it can but as we raced last few nights on server 5 ,no mater how i sett my gears u with yr bmw have much faster acceleration from curves and even if it says that bmw is slower u have faster straight speed.And to add to that there is 2 bmw;s in group 5 but oonly 1 porsche with non group 5 specifications while bmw is done closest to gr5 specifications.so we need 935 trubo version (yep i know all 935 had a turbo but 935 turbo have more turbo boost and u can find it all over net so there was works and turbo versions of 935 with the body shape that is already in the game,only diference is more power at 935 turbo named)

I must admit I haven't really taken too much notice of the difference with these cars.

I do know that there was a lot of care taken over how fast the BMW Turbo should be. At first it was a lot faster and it had to be slowed down so that it matched the 935's performance.

Maybe the BMW Turbo is being driven harder than when it was being modded and is a bit faster because of it?

A quick comparison of best laps on some tracks reveals that the BMW is a little faster and on some others they are about the same.

In reality, how did these cars compare? Which was the fastest?

935 moby dick 780-790hp max speed : ~365kmh

I downloaded the Moby Dick Skin for the 935 from NoGrip and suddenly wanted to test what those huge amount of hps feel like, so I used the Physics Editor Tool and made an alternative engine file.....

Well, let's say it that way: The monster is very hard to control

Even in the second gear and with the lowest possible power coast settings the wheels started to spin wildly (if not careful) and the car, too. I had to move the joystick VEEEEEERY gently to get this thing going. But then on the Mulsanne... wowowowowow

rizmal, search for the "Physics Editor Tool 1.88 for ractor" and make your own engine file to test this, it is a matter of 2 clicks (and some copy-and-paste, ok).

Moby Dick will give you nightmares, the power is unimaginable...
