Ha Ha! Mein C Coupe anno 1988 frisch lackiert.Sehen sich aber verdammt ähnlich,da hatten die Lackierer aber den selben Geschmack.

Thanks Christian, It was a long time that I didn`t painted skins... (since Power & Glory v2 came out)

...I still have to remember how to do it properly, I mean how to assign a body_mask and banners, so that they doesn`t conflict with the other cars in the field... In this version I just dropped the 5 dds files into the existing "60MG" Folder to see how it will look like...
Havent still assigned the spec map to be picked up just By this car.
...still some hex-editing of the gmt`s are needed...

I can`t get the front spoiler to become matt... whatever I do with the body mask. (even painted it full black, but it remains allways dark shiny)
-I used the 208BR as a template...
I`m a bit confused at this point

Hi Gianni,

you need to put the OPEL_KADETT_SPLITTER_STYLE2.GMT in your car folder. Then open the GMT file and edit the material for the paint (wc_team_body1_pa). It is very easy with the 3DSimED.
Then rename the opel_kadett_mask.dds for your car number (e.g. when the number of your car is 35 rename the mask to opel_kadett_m35k.dds) and choose the new Mask in 3DSimEd for the material wc_team_body1_pa as specular map.

If you make the new opel_kadett_m35k.dds very dark in some areas then the skin will be matt.

But as i see from your pictures... Normally the blue of the wheelhouse enlargement should be the same as the blue of the splitter, right? Because the splitter is darker it seems to me that the mask already works because normally the color seems to be darker when it is not so shiny.

-I prefere to change the body_mask reference with a hex editor... It is an old habit, and sometimes it is much faster, specially when there are more then one reference in the gmt (find-replace)
...As said; I rusted a bit LOL
...will finish the 35 later in the day...

(ingame folder: 24GS

...I can of course change the number on the livery (an easy task since I did not deleted the psd jet), but there are the icons, bik, ...and the whole bunch of linked "instances" ...as you already know...

...so if You didn`t started jet, let me know, to see what is to be done...
