How to recognize who drives with Cheats?

Some are so easy to find... someone recently sent me a picture of a car that appeared to float above the track and was faster than other cars of it's type.

A few days ago I was driving an Elan and I was passed very easily on the corners by someone in an Aston Martin... if you know these cars you will know it's just not right even with a great driver.

Some of the latest fast drivers can't even take corners properly but their times are amazing... more than likely to be cheating.

When a driver who has been driving badly suddenly becomes fast, this should ring alarm bells.

If you think a driver is going too fast just check there lap times against the well known fast clean drivers like Waldfee, Leckmajor, fred, Pluginz, Adnam68 etc., and if they are faster check out their driving style.

Discuss with other drivers about anyone you suspect of cheating, they may also have the same view and even more evidence. Unfortunately some drivers want to stay neutral and won't say anything.

Report drivers to the Bude Admin who you think are cheating but please try and give evidence of this such as screen shots or make any replays you have available as it will save them some time which they give freely for us.

It is in the Budes best interest to keep the site clean of cheats and bad drivers as they scare off some of the clean drivers and can give the site a bad name... and none of us want that.

Majority power can beat these freaks so please all stick together to fight them.

Just watch the Replay 4th July ca. 00:45 Server #1 Pembrey Race. He's wrecking a bunch of drivers in 1st lap. There is nothing more to say.
If there will be no reaction from the admins, then please delete my account.

To the wrecked drivers: Do you have balls?? Where's the "Majority Power"??? Where's the kick vote?????????????

I was in the race myself and heard about it after I finished. I checked the replay and his driving was very very bad as he had taken around 6 drivers off, but I must say unusual for him to be like this.

He left without completing a lap therefore we were unable to kick him or ask him why this happened. Perhaps he has a reasonable answer... all is not always black and white.

I will send him a PM.

Gestern abend war ich auch in der 1Runde
ein "opfer".

Obwohl ich den ersten stoss abfangen
konnte,wartete er bis ich wieder auf die

Hi guys,

First of all, I'd like to say sorry to those I "hit". All was ok during practice and qualifying, but when the server changed to race, I could not see any other cars on the track - I was alone on the starting grid. I pressed escape and joined the grid, but nothing changed. I assumed that I was disconnected, so I did the first lap alone because I wanted to see how the car would react to some setup changes that I did before the race. It was a bad choice, next time that I see myself in the same situation I will leave the track.

Thxs Gee-Dee for giving me the benefit of the doubt, and to all the others who come here saying that I'm a wrecker I only say the same as GD: all is not black and white.

Those who know me know that I'm a fair and responsible driver, and driving with fair play comes first than winning a race or a position.

My replay from Pembreys is attached, pls check it.

Hi Alucard,

I had a feeling that other cars being invisible to you at the start could be the problem or that you may have had bad lagging.

If it happens to you again then please try this simple trick:

Invisible cars at start of race
On the PC keypad press the '-' & '+' keys a few times until the cars become visible. This always works for me.

I have a very good conection (optic fiber 20MB down/2 MB up, with very low pings to all europe), but, altough rare, its not the first time this happens.

I feel I must say something more, because I drive GTR/GTR2/GTL for many years now, and since my first days of virtual racing I allways did my best to race with fair play, in the "Gentleman Driving" style. So I feel that it's not fair that someone comes here calling me cheater and wrecker, before knowing what happened, when I allways do my best to drive fair and avoid colisions.
I dislike drivers who dont know how to wait before overtaking, and instead of taking some time to do a clean overtake, they prefer to put the front car out of the track and keep driving as if nothing happenned, taking advantage of one of the phisics flaws in SimBin games.

I am one of the older members of eSR GTR2 League (www.esport-racing.de), and High Commissioner in the eSR Race Commission, that analyzes and decides about the outcome of reported incidents during League Races. I try to do my best beeing fair while driving and while member of the Race Commission at eSR, and my career in SLS speaks for itself, but I drive in other servers (as the Bude) exactly in the same way and guided by the same principles as in eSR.

I know this doesn't mean much, and that I will be judged here by my behaviour in the tracks, but I'm sure that in the future there will be many oportunities to give some credit to what I said before.

I as well have been on the starting grid with no cars. Know to kit the minus and plus keys when this could happen to any of us should be noted so all racers on the bude will not cause any issues that Alucard suffered and were not his fault. Best regards, jb.

So, I have to give my deepest apologize to you, Alucard. I was not thinking of the No-Cars-In-The-Grid-Thing, because when this happens to people, they normally asking what's wrong and they are leaving race, because they first think of it as a problem that's caused by GTL or their computer. In this situation it is very common, that a multiple crash in the two corners will be the end of the race for you and a few others.
Your behaviour then led me to think, that you are a reckless driver. (I was not talking about cheating!)
That is why I really didn't take this possibility into account.

Alucard is definately not guilty of being a wrecker and remains a fair gentleman driver.

Apologies are not necessary, its enough you guys giving me credit for beeing a fair driver.

I have enough experience in sim-racing to understand the point of vue of those who were crashed by my "ghost car", and would like also to apologize for any inconvenience.

I just came across this thread. The empty grid has happened to me on the odd occasion and sometimes during the race all cars would just disappear. I used to just carry on anyway for the practice but after reading this, I think I will exit out and come back in after the race just to avoid this issue. The + and - is new to me too!! Geedee is a good source of information!!
