This is making me very angry as I can see no logical reason for there to be any problems, and it's very irritating when a stupid, uninformative error message comes up with no explanation.

When I run the app I get the following error.

Error [667]: speed path

And that's it. I can't download a bloody thing.

I've tried fresh installs of both game and app. (So tired of clicking that bastard agreement and getting the snarky messages). Weiss and Pils work just fine for me.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, talking about the autoupdater. I have the latest version. Weiss and Pils work. (Albeit all the GTR2 servers boot me as "possible cheat"... hmmm)

So yes, autoupdate. I have a friend who races here and it's very very frustrating to not be able to race with him

If I remove my profile from userdata so all I have is the LOG directory etc... The error becomes

Error [667]: speed path
@
{}

Have no idea if that helps anyone solve this.

That problem seems to be related to a modified version of GTL in use.

Pls use original DVD/CD installation with patch v1.1 and everything should be fine ...
