GOOD STUFF!

OK, there were a couple of incidents but for a new class....pretty good!

I had a nice race, pitted early and free track, from P10 or so to 9, some good fights but also a couple mistakes.
Lancia=VERY NICE!
Powerful but not extremely difficult to learn to go well.
Next time another car....

Great race for me as well. The only problem was i had no clue some cars can go without refueling.

I was quick but not like the Ballesta drivers even though i made a perfect lap at the end of qualy.

The start was OK i just forgot to close the door to Oso and take the second position.

After that we had great battle with Juan but he made a mistake and i drove lonely until the pit.

The pit was OK and i was watching when Fin will go to the pit. I had 10 seconds lead before the pit and i was optimist about my chances for podium.

Meanwhile AGM had problems with his tires and i was in third now.

At some point i saw that i had just 18% of engine left and i put the automatic clutch to protect the engine.

AGM was catching me very fast and maybe at the end we were going to have a battle for the podium because Fin didn't wanted to go to the pit

And when i was counting every tenth in the chase with Alvaro, i catch Niko and he didn't let me pass on the straight. He span his car and at the last moment he went right into my car - there was nothing i can do.

I had damage now, the car was turning at one point and i had to keep the engine = no chance against Alvaro and podium finish.

My 2 cents,

i tried the 80 th Escort, but my set, that offline was quiet good for Quali and Race, had to be adjustet new for online racing.

The start worked well and all the competitors around me drove careful.

I managed to overtake Wiege after a few mistakes he had and so i hoped, to finish 5..

I tried it with one stop and 60 ltr. for each stint, so that i could change the tires if needed after the half of the race.

When i had to make my pitstop, i saw JB in front of me. After an accident he obviously also had to visit the box.

So i had to brake early, drove directly behind him, when he hits a wall and afterwards stood crossways in the middle of the entrance.



No chance to pass him

Cool - so i just slowed more down and pushed him a little, to get through. Perhaps it helped him too, i don`t know.

Then, without pitlimiter in the Escort i tried to hold 5000 rpm cause i knew with 6000 you get a S&G.
Another guy directly behind me was knocking at my back a few times, so i estimate, that perhaps 5200 rpm were also been possible

...but i had not the courage to try that.

Due to that special Stop P5 was no longer possible. With new tires I could push on Wiege again but i would have needed more rounds.

P6 on Escort ( without limiter ) was okay at the end.

I had fun with the physics of that car and i have to say, that all - really all racers i had to deal with during the event, drove very careful and with attentiveness.
