Nice first run in the morning. Better than espected (I did not die)

Alas I did die.....
Such a shame, lost a wheel.

2nd race.....wonderful!!!!
Well, at start I had some wheelspin and sandwiched wiege with Alvaro and Oso.
So I was last, but went from 16 to 8 in 2 laps, that was fun! Then another mistake and 13th. Fighting back went well and at halftime I was 5th I believe.
Shall I? Dare I?....yes, I do! No tyre change as I was still doing 109. With very early braking it went well and I was 4th, then 3rd!!! Nobody challenging as Taffy and Oso were far enough behind. I coul'nt gain on Manfred but then he had his unfortunate incident I was given 2nd place. Then came the moment....Alvaro lapped me but had no idea I had to brake THAT early for last section....almost died..thank the Dio for Alvaro's relexes!..I stayed wide on the outside and he went by before chicane, I had no tyres and slammed the chicane wall....not pretty..
But we survived and I got from 4 to 16 to 8 to 2!

Grats to all survivor - the strategy to drive carefull from the beginning did work - I remember our F1 season.
I like Goodwood very much, but its tricky too so the green green gras was visited often from the drivers.

Sorry wiege for that sandwitch against caspar, I watched replay and...ouch...

The only pitty of the race was that the things were hotter than the front left tyre...

And then , 3rd race....

Server was full, so sad!
Other server with 8 people. Pole was BOSS with Merc 300SL at 25. I was seconde with 25.7 in Alpine.
On lap 2 I could pass the Merc and worked very hard to make a gap. It worked!
At piststop I had a nice margin. Sadly BOSS didn't get help at pits or something and he escaped. Sad for Janosch who had a big battle with him in his TR4!
So, a very boooring race, but fun trying to do only 1.26 laps. It almost worked.
I am very curious how our race will compare to the other server. I hope there will be a total standings.

So, overall, a good(wood) day!

Race 1; DNF
Race2: 2nd
Race3: 1st on server.

The only disasvantage of Goodwood. But the good news is that after 12 years of GTL I noticed it, so, ABB rocks!

Für mich war das eher "Badwood" statt "Goodwood".
Alle drei Rennen DNF!
Ich mag die Strecke,komm aber nie an.

ich wollte mich für die schöne event-idee und die reibungslose durchführung bedanken, zusammen mit dem tollen plakat war das schon was besonderes. und im abendrennen war auch ein ganz netter mix an autos unterwegs, hat spass gemacht.
